Momentum Gathering for Removal of Confederate Monuments in Wilmington, N.C.-- Part 2
The monument honoring Confederate soldiers was designed by Henry Bacon (1866-1924) who was the principal designer of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C..
On Tuesday night the City Council of Asheville, N.C. voted unanimously to remove Confederate monuments.
The organization supports moving the monuments to a museum of public garden. The garden would be a mistake as they would constantly be attacked by the BLMers and their white minions.
(The statues have since been removed for "public safety." I applaud this move. I want all Confederate statues placed somewhere safe from BLM and their supporters.
