A council member there wants to move the Union memorial monument in Fort Hill Cemetery placed by the Grand Army of the Republic and have it placed by the Confederate monument in town. Really? Moving a Union monument. I only thought Confederate monuments were being moved.)

** Move to rename 'Bloody Sunday' bridge has critics in Selma. The Pettus Bridge involved in the Civil Rights Movement.
