Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

Another National Survey on Statue Removal

NOVEMBER 3, 2022

**  Southern attitudes toward Confederate monuments and reforming public spaces.  (Findings from a national survey.  Interesting numbers.  Of interest, every state in the South and even across the nation has 50% and more wanting them left in place or have context added to them.)

Of course, it is my belief that the absolute best way to determine how people stand on statue removal would be to put it to a vote.  I'd go along with the will of the majority of the people and also am fairly sure that, unless the people in a voting district are primarily Blacks, the vote will be to keep the statues.  Look what has happened in Virginia when it has been put to a vote.  Virginians have come a long way in my mind as to redeeming themselves, other than Sad R..

Sad NASCAR and A 'Surprising' College Prof

SEPTEMBER 10, 2022

**  NASCAR to fans:  Leave Confederate flags at home.  (Me to NASCAR:  I left NASCAR at their home.  I no longer watch or support this sport. NASCAR is forgetting its roots.)

**  University of Michigan professor calls Queen 'colonizer' and likens monarch to the Confederacy.  (Daily Mail, UK.  Well, what can you expect from university professors these days?   Actually, I believe a whole lot of this anti-Confederate hysteria can be traced to these learned folks.))

**  Confederates,  socialists, Capitol attackers:  a 14th Amendment  history lesson.  (Washington Post.  The attack on our Capitol building still rankles me.  I don't care how you feel, you do not attack such an institution.)

**  Asheboro officials  pass resolution requesting  monument relocation.  (North Carolina.  Well, at least they didn't order a bulldozer to knock it down like in Enfield.)
