Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

Confederate Railroad's Back! Ignore It. Oscar Wilde, The Post's So Proud of Virginia, West Point's Buffalo Soldiers

SEPTEMBER 3, 2021

**  Confederate Railroad and EllieMae Millenkamp looking forward to Petersburg.  (Iowa.  Country group Confederate Railroad has come under a lot of fire from certain folks because of their name and use of Confederate flags on their logo.  They had several concerts in Illinois canceled because of it.)

**  EEOC:  Applebee's told Black line cook to 'ignore' co-workers wearing Confederate  flag gear.  (Exactly right.  That would be the thing to do.  Maybe the black line cook should wear BLM stuff.)

********************************

SEPTEMBER 5, 2021

**  James Gill:  Who was Oscar Wilde's favorite American?  Turns out he was a Confederate.  (Jefferson Davis)

**  Two recent decisions  put Virginia on the right side of history and morality.  (Washington Post of course.  One was the pardon of the Martinsville Seven and taking down the Lee statue.  Big surprise the Post would say something like this.  However, they were right in the pardon of the Martinsville Seven.)

**  West Point will unveil a statue honoring a group of black soldiers.  (Buffalo soldiers.  I am very happy to see this happening.  They deserve to be honored.  I'd love to see the Army bring them back as an all-Black unit.  Talk about esprit de corps.)

Civil War II: Iowa, US Capitol, Louisiana, Richmond, California and Maryland

JULY 2, 2021

**  Iowa Congressional delegation split on purging Confederate, white supremacist  statues from US Capitol.  (Guess who voted to do away with them>)

**  Settlement not reached in lawsuit to remove  Confederate Gen. Alfred Mouton.  (Louisiana)

**  Editorial:  Move, don't destroy Confederate statues.

**  Looking back:  Stonewall Jackson  statue removed from Richmond's  Monument Avenue one year.  (And the really sad thing is that new statues  (and only of black people) will be put up in their place.

******************************

JULY 3, 2021

**  Community demands firing of employees who had Confederate flag in Elk Grove Unified School District van.  (California.  My question is this.  Does community here refer to Blacks and their white minions or the whole community.  Also, had it been a Black Lives Matter flag in the van, would that have been a problem?)

**  Talbot officials  ask court  to dismiss lawsuit seeking removal of Confederate monument.  (Maryland)

Now, It's Lexington, Virginia, and Finally, a Politician With a Backbone

JULY 26, 2020

**  As Confederate  monuments tumble, die-hards are erecting replacements.  (Washington Post  A big surprise that they would print this, considering their commitment to BLM (you know that group that riots, loots, burns down thing and commit hate crimes) and Confederadication.  I wonder if they have any owners/slaveowners in their past like the other big newspaper, the NY Times, who also hates anything Confederate.)

**  Activist groups protest Confederate flag, make demands for the City of Charleston.  (There have been standoffs at Battery Park over Confederate statues.  Those who are there to make sure BLM doesn't desecrate or try to "topple" them have Confederate flags and this bothers the protesters.  Hey we'll stop flying the flag if you guys stop wearing anything with the equally offensive BLM on it.)

*****************************

JULY 27, 2020

**  A Virginia town built around Confederate generals re-examines its identity.  (New York Times  Guess whose side this paper is on.  Lexington, Virginia.  Known as home of Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson and a victim of whatever it is in the water that is making Virginia such a sad state.)

**  King defends Confederate flag as 'symbol of Southern Pride."  (Iowa Republican U.S. Representative Steve King.  He also opposes BLM.  I may have to move to Iowa.)

**  Confederate monuments on public lands pose unique challenges.

Demonstrators Demand Stone Mountain Confederate Carving Be Removed

JUNE 29, 2020

**  Mississippi Legislature  passes bill to eliminate the Confederate symbol from state flag.  (I still think they should have let the people decide on popular vote.)

**  Ole Miss basketball player who transferred to  Iowa State 'proud not to represent' Confederate flag.  (A lot of loyalty with him.  Don't worry, Iowa State does not have a Confederate flag, nor the state either.)

**  38 descendants of Confederate  soldiers sue St. Augustine over removal of Confederate monument.

**  In Wilmington neighborhood, division over streets named after KKK  grand wizard,  Confederate generals.  (North Carolina.  In Pine Valley neighborhood, there are at least 17 streets named after generals in the Confederate Army, including Nathan Forrest.)

**  The Confederate monuments are down in Wilmington --for how long we don't know.  (North Carolina)

**  Enid neighbors living the struggle over Confederate symbols.  (Oklahoma)

**  Demonstrators march on Stone Mountain demanding removal of Confederate carving.  (Georgia.  Hopefully the State of Georgia will put the Stone Mountain Carving under heavy surveillance before BLM and their white minions use explosives to bring it down.)

Of Wiley's Racist Monument, Bands and Roses With Offensive Names, and Pesky Confederate Flags

December 25, 2019

**  Kehinde Wiley's anti-Confederate memorial.  (He is the sculptor of the new monument in Richmond, Virginia.  I am hoping people pay more respect to it than they do to Confederate monuments even though it is racist.)

**  Upcoming court date in ongoing Confederate monument  court battle reset.  (Caddo, Louisiana)

**  NWA Letters to the Editor "Statue deserves new place in context of area history.  (Bentonville, Arkansas.  Wants Confederate statue moved.)

**  Confederate Railroad coming to Jackson County Fair.  (Iowa.  Here's hoping Gov. "Toilets" of Illinois won't cause it to be cancelled because of the logo and name.)

**  Resident objects to vendor's booth at Old Tyme Fair in New Jersey with Confederate flag for sale.

**  Confederate roses.  I did not know there was a type of rose named this, but hopefully the name won't have to be changed because of their connection to the "S" word.

Well, if Confederate monuments are racist, I guess Mr. Wiley's monument is of the same sort.

Civil War II: Why Those Confederate Statues Still Standing and Dolly?

December 17, 2019

**  93 % of Confederate monuments are still standing.  Here's why.

**  Iowa home with Confederate, Nazi displays vandalized.

**  Committee explains deal to relocate Confederate monument.

**  Theft of Confederate flags from cemetery remains a mystery.

**  Group protests  Nazi, Confederate display in Des Moines yard.  (I did see that the wood with the German war symbol was not a swastika.)

**  Will a Dolly Parton statue replace a Confederate memorial in Tennessee's Capitol?

**  NC lawyer sues Confederate group over UNC letter takedown.

Not quite sure what this last one is about.

Stealing Confederate Flags and Silent Sam

December 16, 2019

**  Confederate flags were stolen from a Virginia graveyard.  The search continues for the person who did it.  (Harrisonburg, Va.   About 250 small flags.)

**  Letter:  Move Confederate monuments to battlefields.

**  NC university's Silent Sam settlement draws suit.

**  Homeowner says swastikas, Confederate flags are not racist; others denounce them as symbols of  hate.   (Iowa)

**  Instagram won't pull these racist, violent, Russian-inspired accounts.  (Some are Confederate)

**  Georgia lawmaker  backs 'Confederate History Month' chided.

**  UNC and Silent Sam:  The uncertain future of a great university.

**  We made the deal to pay a Confederate group to take Silent Sam.  It was the best solution.

**  North Carolina loses $1.5 million over Silent Sam deal.

You know, if the other side's idiot squad (the ones upset about the money) hadn't pulled down Silent Sam, this wouldn't be an issue.

The Second Civil War: Oh Those Horrible Confederate Flags and Poor Nikki

December 13, 2019

**  State panel not expected to talk  Confederate bust at meeting.  (Tennessee)

**  Confederate flag is a racist symbol.

**  Column:  Nikki Haley is wrong about the Confederate flag's history.

**************************

December 14, 2019

**  Democratic majority could bring monumental  change to Confederate symbols.

**  The Confederate flag is a symbol of cruelty.

**  Lewis Toland:  A different perspective on Confederate statue.

**  Confederate flag isn't honorable.

**  Nikki Haley and the Confederate flag.

**  Nikki Haley's remarks about the Confederate flag haven't changed.  Her stage has.

**  Iowa man facing backlash for Confederate, Nazi paintings in his front yard.  I saw the pictures of his house.  In my opinion, nothing was wrong with the Confederate flags but he should not have put the swastika there.

Okay, let's see, in these headlines:  Confederate flags are racist, cruel and dishonorable.  What else?
