Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

Confederadication: Arlington National Cemetery, Reverse Graffiti and Melting Art

For those of you who might believe that these attacks on Confederate heritage have almost stopped.

OCTOBER 11, 2022

**  Independent commission determines Confederate memorial at Arlington must be removed.  (Arlington National Cemetery.

*****************************

OCTOBER 12, 2022

**  Confederate graffiti found on Soldiers Monument.    (The Williams Record, Williams College, Massachusetts.  Someone write the word rebel on the Unuion soldier monument and drew a Confederate flag.  Welcome to our world.)

**  Debate over c(C)onfederate monument near downtown Greenville.  (Kansas)

**  Charlottesville, Va.,  museum hoping top melt  Lee statue must tell plaintiffs  where it is.  (Jefferson School African American Heritage Center.  So much for caring about the past by destroying a thing of beauty.)

I'm All In Favor of Black Monuments, But.... Now, Even the Color Grey Comes Under Fire.

NOVEMBER 15, 2021

**  Sculpture a tribute to US Colored Troops liberation of Wilmington.  (Wilmington, North Carolina.  This is a good one to  put up as many USCT regiments were involved in the capture of the city.  However, Wilmington was not liberated.  It was captured.  Also, to put  up a statue to Blacks when you're taking down statues to whites.  I just don't know.)

You can never have too many historical statues or markers in my book.

**  Westford  schools may remove  'grey' from mascot's name, rebrand with students' help.  (Westford, Massachusetts.  How far will they go?  Come On, Man.)

***************************

NOVEMBER 16, 2021

**  The Old Home Town makes the proper decision on Confederate statue.  (Jackson, Tennessee)

**  Confederate Memorial Park to host Christmas event.  (Marbury, Alabama.  I wonder how this park has escaped attack?)

****************************

NOVEMBER 17, 2021

**  Tar Heel Voices:  The people never spoke on statues.  (Agreed.  To remove a statue should always entail a vote by the people.)

Now, Even the Color Grey?  Come On, Man.  --Old Secesh

Why Must Everything Be Renamed for Blacks? SPLC Again, Oh Those Fairs, Oh Those Flags. COVID-19 and the Civil War, Schools

AUGUST 14, 2021

**  Correcting revisionist history:  SPLC challenges more than 100 schools honoring Confederate leaders to change their names.  (They even made a lost.  Imagine them making a list.  Of course, I'm sure they want all of them to be renamed for Blacks.)

**  Flag debate rises again  with fair season.  (You know which flags are in question.  The way I look at it, if a person is offended, don't buy it or look at it or even do business with the person.)

********************************

AUGUST 15, 2021

**  AS US COVID-19 deaths top the Civil War's toll, we're repeating disease history.  (Time Magazine.  Well, how about that.  No statues or flags here!!!)

**  Northampton  school board gets first look at 'hate symbols' policy.  (Massachusetts.  Confederate flags of course.  Is there anything about BLM paraphernalia on that list?  That is pretty much hate in my books.)

**  Hampton to rename five schools called for servant owners, Confederates and segregationists.  (Of course, they will be renamed for Blacks.)

Confederadication: Jacksonville, Cemeteries, Proper names, Obelisk and Memorial Day

MAY 31, 2021

**  Jacksonville's efforts to remove  remaining Confederate  statues.  (Florida)

**  Historic cemeteries want to  leave Confederate flag out for Memorial Day  honors.  (I fully support this.  They fought and risked and lost their lives for their homes and country.)

**  The Confederacy's final resting place.

**  After trying to remove  a confederate (Confederate) statue in Alabama, this activist  received death threats.  (You mean criminal?  However, this black person should not have received death threats for it.  Come on folks at The Grio.  Confederate is a proper name and should be capitalized.)

**  Federal commission  wrongly puts 'Antietam'  on Confederate names  chopping block.  (Antietam is a Navy ship and, hey, the North won that one, not the Confederacy.)

********************************

JUNE 1, 2021

**  Obelisk honoring Confederate officer torn down.  (That Sad A North Carolina town, of course.  Vying to outdo the Sad R.)

**  Confederate flag displayed at Natick Memorial Day ceremony:  'We condemn this.'  (Massachusetts)

Renaming Schools, Museums. No Flags Here!! Country Music Racist?

MARCH 13, 2021

**  Behre:  The Confederate Museum, minus the Confederate.  (The word Confederate has been dropped.  It is now just the Museum at Market hall.  So sad.)

****************************************

MARCH 14, 2021

**  Massachusetts school board approves Confederate flag ban.  (But no BLM ban?)

**  Should we sell the Confederate statue?  (Owensboro, Kentucky.  Very surprisingly, this is pushed by the local NAACP chapter.)

**  Dallas likely to rename three schools with Confederate namesakes.

**  Why is Confederate flag so offensive.  (A big part of it is that the idiot groups keep waving it.  I wish they wouldn't.)

**  Committee considers five  options to monument.

**  Marren Morris, Rissi Palmer and other country stars discuss racism in them music industry.  (How many white artists get played on black radio stations?)

**  Debate over renaming schools remains impassioned  almost a year after George Floyd's death.  (George Floyd, the poster guy for education.  I'm waiting for George Floyd High School.  Maybe put his face on the $20 bill?)

Civil War II: Texas, Massachusetts, Kentucky, Virginia, North Carolina and Tennessee

MARCH 12, 2021

**  In Fort Worth, the police grapple with racist comments online.  (Texas)

******************************

MARCH 13, 2021

**  Massachusetts school board approves Confederate flag ban.  (Northampton, Mass.  However, BLM symbols were not banned and should be.  There was a complaint about students on remote learning wearing Confederate flag clothes.)

**  Will Dallas ISD schools rename three schools with Confederate ties? (Texas)

**  Why was city's decision ton Confederate statue done behind closed doors?  (Owensboro, Kentucky)

**  Private citizen makes bid for Northampton's Confederate statue.  (Virginia)

**  Winston-Salem  Confederate monument remains in storage  2 years after relocation.  (North Carolina.  There should be a lawsuit to force its being relocated outside somewhere.)

**  MTSU  student leaders renew push to remove Nathan Bedford Forrest's name from ROTC building.  (Tennessee)

The Second Civil War: North Carolina License Plates, Tennessee, KKK, Florida Holidays, Massachusetts

MARCH 9, 2021

**  Group sues NC over end of Confederate license plate.  (North Carolina Division of Sons of Confederate Veterans (SCV).  Of course, if the SCV plate is not allowed, someone should take a look at the license plates of certain fraternities and sororities.  Must be fair you know.)

**  Tennessee  panel to vote on Confederate bust in state Capitol.  (Forrest. How do you think they'll vote?)

**  'KKK'  flyers showing up in homes  of those protesting against Confederate statue.  (Statesville, North Carolina.  Stupid move if the KKK did it.  Not impressed.)

*****************************

MARCH 10, 2021

**  Dropping  Confederate holidays in Florida a focus for some Democrats.  (What is it about Democrats and Confederadication?)

**  Nothampton school committee to vote on  banning Confederate flag.  (Massachusetts.  Perhaps they should also vote on whether to ban that crazy principal.  Do you think they won't vote to ban the flag.  But if they do, they should also ban anything with BLM on it, obviously.)

**  Sons of Confederate Veterans sues NCDOT over  decision to remove battle flag from license plates.  (North Carolina)

Civil War II: Maryland, Names, Florida, Artists, Gallows, Song and Schools

**  Confederate symbols removed from Maryland in 2020, what remains.    (One removed in 2020. The Jeb Stuart Trail was renamed.)

**  Florida artist John Sims demands  change through art , writing.  (A black guy.  Hates all things Confederate.  Had a show in Gettysburg  "The proper way to hang a Confederate flag" where he hung the flag from the gallows.  He'd better hope der Bubba doesn't see that.)

**  Changing Maryland's state song  on legislative table.

**  'My people built this country' Massachusetts principal fights back after receiving backlash for condemning  display of Confederate flag in school.  (A black principal said that.)

**  Tribute:  Senior lawmaker  calls for flag removal.

**  Editorial:  Can Jacksonville move from angst to consensus.  (Florida)

States of Embarrassment. Come on, SPLC, How About That List of BLM 'Peaceful Demonstrations' That Led to Violence, Rioting, Looting and Burning (Not to Mention Hate Crimes)!!!

FEBRUARY 27, 2021

**  Ban on Confederate flag urged in Northampton schools.  (Massachusetts.   The black principal was shown holding a BLM sign.  Does that mean he supports rioting, burning, looting and hate crimes?)

**  Alabama ranks third in nation for number of Confederate symbols removed in 2020.  (That has to be embarrassing.  Again, the racist group SPLC has the numbers and says that  12 were removed.  In case you're wondering, Sad V. led the pack with 71 thanks to their sad gov and mayor.    N.C. was second with 24.  The states of embarrassment.)

**  HEY SPLC (Southern Poverty Law Center).  We are still waiting for your list on BLM "peaceful demonstrations" that led to rioting, confrontation, looting, burning and hate crimes in 2020.  Come on guys, you know you can do it!!

**  Lawmakers vote to remove Confederate  name from highway.  (No surprise there.  Sad V.  Jefferson Davis Highway)

**  Confederate symbols removed from Georgia in 2020.  (Seven according to SPLC)

FEBRUARY 25, 2021

**  Northampton students denounce racism after Facebook page  targets principal's Confederate flag lesson.  (Massachusetts)

**  With one school name change down, Gainesville activists push to topple other Confederate reminders.  (Florida.  A black woman wants this.)

**  It's time to rename  government facilities named after Confederate war heroes.

**  DCPS  to host first public meeting on renaming Lee High School.  (Jacksonville, Florida.  Again, if the majority of the students are Black, I am all in favor of it.)

**  Op-Ed:  Confederate memorials serve a role in National Parks.

************************************

FEBRUARY 26, 2021

**  Effort to ban confederate  holidays in Florida back again.   (WCJB ABC 20.  Looks like a big-time station like this might know that Confederate is spelled with a capital C.)

**  The US removed  over 160 Confederate symbols in 2020 -- But 100s remain.

The Second Civil War: Wisconsin, Alabama, Tennessee, Sad R., North Carolina and Massachusetts

OCTOBER 15, 2020

**  Authorities investigating placement of Confederate flag  on Beloit bridge.  (Wisconsin.  They also should have investigating the earlier placement of the offensive BLM banners on the bridge.  University officials condemned the flag, but somehow overlooked the fact that BLM means rioting, looting and arson as well as hate crimes.  They seem to be okay with that.)

**  Florence activists  say city's resolutions on Confederate monument won't do much.  (Alabama)

**  Hamilton County Commission to vote on resolution to remove Confederate statue.  (Tennessee.  Do you think they will vote to remove it?)

**  Over 20 proposals submitted to acquire Confederate monuments, statue sendoff unlikely in 2020.   (Sad R.  Of course, those who wanted the statues down should pay all expenses involved with taking them down and relocating them.  Hey, guys.  Put your money where your mouths are.)

**  Lexington to remove Confederate  monument  'without delay.'  (North Carolina.  The city has reached agreement with UDC and will pay all expenses.  I still say those who want them removed should pay for it.)

**  'Thin Blue Line' backers denounce use of Confederate flag.  (Danvers, Massachusetts.   The town was having the blue police U.S. flags removed from its fire trucks because one person objected.  There was a demonstration about it and one person had a Confederate flag.)

UDC Rising to the Forefront of Confederate Statue Removal. Arizona, Louisiana, Massachusetts

JULY 23, 2020

**  Two Confederate monuments in Arizona will be located to private property.    This comes at the request of the United Daughters of the Confederacy (UDC) who had gifted them to the state.  Back in February, the NAACP requested that all six Confederate monuments in the state be removed.  Several of them, if not all, have been victims of hate crimes by BLM.

(I applaud the UDC for calling for their removal and would like to see all UDC chapters and SCV camps across the country call for Confederate statue removal to keep them from being damaged by BLMers and their white minions.  The big problem is where to put them back up where BLM can't get at them.)

**  Louisiana parish can move Confederate  statue from courthouse.  (Caddo.  Again, this was done by request of the UDC.)

**  'Silent Sentinel'  Confederate statue removed from outside Loudoun County courthouse.  (Virginia)

**  America's founders and Confederate generals.  (Martha's Vineyard, Mass.  Plaques to Confederate  soldiers once in Ocean Park removed at request of NAACP, but placed in the Martha's Vineyard Museum.)

Way to Go UDC.  Let's Get On Board SCV.  Remove the Statues So BLM Can't Damage and Commit Hate Crimes Against Them.  --Old Secesh
