Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

All Removed Confederate Items Should Be Turned Over to UDC and SCV

FEBRUARY 6, 2022

**  Post-Confederate law bars Jan. 6 speaker Rep. Cawthorn from office, challengers argue.

**  Two Confederate pedestals coming down today.  (Sad R.)

**  Bill would return  Nathan Bedford Forrest bust to Confederate group in Maury County.  (Tennessee.  Return to SCV.  Any and all Confederate items should always be turned over to the SCV or UDC, all expenses paid and with funds to place it elsewhere.)

**  Nearly 50 Confederate memorials  removed, renamed, and relocated in 2021:  Report.  (Daily Wire.  They describe the SPLC as a progressive group.  They seem to be a progressive hate group all right.)

**  Eleanor Holmes Norton, Cory Booker seek Congressional Gold Medal for  black Civil War veterans.  These are two black U.S. senators.  I agree, the brave Blacks who served in the Union forces should receive recognition, but the Gold Medal would be a bit much.  Hey folks, the Confederate soldiers were pretty brave too.)

Robert E. Lee Statue, Cost of Removing Pedestals $1.5 Million, Racism and U.S. Capitol Attack

JANUARY 6, 2022

**  Robert E. Lee statue to exit  Richmond's wastewater plant.  (Sad R.  That's right, a further slap in the face from the mayor and his cohorts, store it at a wastewater plant.  Will this ever end.  Oh yes, and turn it over to a black museum.  One can only imagine what horrible things they are going to do with it.)

**  Removal of remaining Confederate monument pedestals could cost approximately  $1.5 million.  (Sad R.  That seems to be way high, but the money goes to a big-time mayor supporter.  Of course, the cost of all this should be paid for by people who want the monuments and their pedestals gone.  None should come from public funds.)

**  Racism's prominent role in January 6 US Capitol Attack.  (If this was racism, I would think it was in response to what the BLMers were doing during the days of riots all year during 2020.  And, let's face it, most of those rioters, looters and arsonists committing hate crimes were of one particular race of people.)

But, I agree, those pictures of them idiots attacking the Capitol is as offensive to me as the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001.  A horrible day in U.S. history.

Let Those Who Want the Statues Gone PAY for it THEMSELVES.  --Old Secesh

Black Soldiers Monument, Confederate Monument Stays, Pedestal Gone and He's Guilty

JANUARY 3, 2022

**  Black Soldiers Monument not moving to courthouse.  (Perquimans County, N.C.  Owners prefer to have it remain where it is.)

**  Confederate monument staying at Perquimans Courthouse.  (N.C.  Will be put in context with signage, however.  A fair compromise in my books, as long as that context is not too BLM or Woke.)

**  Pedestal where Lee statue in Richmond fully removed.  (And, about time.)

****************************

JANUARY 4, 2022

**  Man pleads guilty to knocking down Roanoke Confederate monument.  (Roanoke, Virginia.  hard to believe that doing somethin g to a Confederate monument might be considered illegal.)

The Pedestal's Gone... Finally

JANUARY 2, 2022

**  Northam and Stoney to give Richmond's Confederate monument remains to Black History Museum.  (Sad R. and Sad Va.  These are the fellows who need to be voted out of office the next election.)

**  Pedestal of Robert E. Lee statue in Virginia  capital fully removed.  (Thank goodness for that.  What the city and state allowed the hate-crimers to do to it created a huge eyesore.  Now, where will the folks who like to write swear words and hate words on property write them?  I feel so sorry for those folks.)

Civil War II: About That Lee Pedestal, Muslims and Pennsylvania Revises Markers

DECEMBER 13, 2021

**  Northam to remove Lee statue pedestal, transfer land to city.  (Virginia's governor.)

******************************

DECEMBER 14, 2021

**  City removes mysterious new statue from site of former  Dallas Confederate  memorial.  (Dallas, Texas.  It was also removed.)

**  Nation's largest Muslim civil rights group voices support  for removing Tuskegee's Confederate monument. (Alabama.  That's a good one.  Islamic civil rights?  I kind of doubt it.)

******************************

DECEMBER 15, 2021

**  Pennsylvania revises  Confederate markers, recasts them as 'enemy' soldiers.  (Maybe Southern states should revise markers and put up new ones recounting the horrors civilians faced from Union occupation units.)

That Travesty in Charlottesville

DECEMBER 7, 2021

**  Confederate statue remains  to be removed.  (Sad R.  The pedestal of the Lee statue is still there.  That eyesore because of what certain people did to it and what the city and state governments allowed them to do should have been taken down when they statue was removed.)

**  Statue of Confederate  Gen. Forrest removed in Tennessee.  (Along I-65 south of Nashville.  Well, it was an ugly statue.)

**  Thousands of 'renaming'  nominations received.  (Fort Rucker, Alabama)

*********************************

DECEMBER 8, 2021

**  Charlottesville's  statue of Confederate  General Robert E, Lee will be melted down.  (It is to be melted down into public art.  The city council voted 4-0 to give it to  the Jefferson School African American Heritage Center. This is a travesty.  Notice they didn't put it up to a public vote.  It should have been turned over to the SCV or UDC.

All Confederate statues should be turned over to the UDC or SCV.  All expenses should be paid for by those who want them taken down.)

**  Locals offer $3000  reward for Confederate monument  vandals.  (Murray, Kentucky.  Again, NOT vandalism.  This is a hate crime.)

More Shame on Charlottesville.  --Old Secesh

The Second Civil War: A.P. Hill Monument, Jacksonville, Tuskegee, Capsule

SEPTEMBER 11, 2021

**  A.P. Hill Monument:   What will happen to  Richmond's last Confederate monument.  (You think it will remain?  Not likely.  It sure was a sad day when the Confederacy's capital was moved to Sad R.  At least they are recommending its relocation, not destruction.)

**  The  South will not rise again.    The case for removing Confederate  monuments.  (New York Daily News)

**  Activists urge Mayor Curry to remove last major Confederate monument in Jacksonville.  (Florida)

**  Suit filed over  Confederate statue in mostly black Tuskegee.  (Alabama.  They still haven't done anything for the criminal act committed by the town official to the statue.)

**  New capsule installed  within the pedestal  where Lee statue stood.  (Sad R.  I am fearful that they won't take that eyesore of a pedestal down after what BLM and their ilk were allowed to do to it.)

Confederadication: Wilmington Goes After the Pedestals. Johnny Ford, Tuskegee's Criminal. SPLC Again

AUGUST 16, 2021

**  George Davis  pedestal removed in downtown Wilmington.  (North Carolina.  Now, if Wilmington will just remove a few of their many, many traffic light cameras.)

***********************************************

AUGUST 17, 2021

**  Tuskegee city council man Johnny Ford focused on removal of Confederate statue.  (Alabama.  He actually should be focused on his defense as he should have been arrested for the crime he did to that statue.  But, since he is Black he will get away with it.  I wonder what they would have done had it been a white person doing something like he did to a black statue?)

**  22 Alabama on SPLC's list of US schools  honoring Confederate  leaders.  (Our good friends at the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) again.  Wonder if they are racist?  Hey, most Confederates were white people.  And, we're STILL waiting on SPLC's list of how many BLM "peaceful demonstrations" in 2020 became looting and burning orgies and damage figures.)

**  Remnants of Confederate  statues now removed  from downtown Wilmington.  (North Carolina.  And, of course, all costs for removal were paid by those wanting them gone.  Of course.)

Removing Those Pesky Confederate Statues and Pedestal Under Cover of the Night. Does That Mean You Have Something to Hide? Who Is Uncle Beau?

AUGUST 16, 2021

**  Before dawn Sunday, Wilmington begins  removing Confederate monument pedestals.  (Wilmington, North Carolina.  Why do they move so many Confederate statues and now pedestals during the wee hours of the night.  Is it because they are doing something bad.  Hopefully the folks who don't want them there are paying for it.)

**  Emails point to the origins of Wilmington's plans for the removal of  Confederate monuments.  (North Carolina)

**  Uncle Beau  bashed for posting (c)onfederate flag weeks after Mike Youngquist got slammed for the same thing.  (?)

**  George Davis pedestal removed from downtown Wilmington.  (Now, if they will just remove a few of those stoplight cameras.  I don't know of any other town with as many traffic light cameras.  If you can remove one thing, you can remove another.)

History of Confederate Statues and Why They Divide Us. Fort Moore? Sad R.'s Pesky Pedestals, Another Hate Crime and Loudon Co.'s Sign Problem

 JULY 5, 2021

**  BEW POV doc explores the history of Confederate statues -- and why they divide us.

**  Why the Confederacy failed to recreate the American Revolution.

**  Family of Bardstown  Army leader seeks to rename Fort Benning after parents.  (Bardstown, Kentucky.  For their father, Lt. General Hal Moore, a Vietnam hero.  At least he is not a black person.  I worry that ALL bases will be named for Blacks.)

*******************************

JULY 6, 2021

**  Monuments, pedestals  on the agenda of Richmond's Planning Commission on Tuesday.  (Virginia.  Guess what sad R. will determine here.)

**  Jackson statue vandalized. (Charlottesville, Virginia.  Again, this is not vandalism, it is a hate crime.  Treat it as such.  If a white person did that to a black person's statue, it sure would be called a hate crime.  Level the field.)

**  Loudon County weighs what to do with roads named for Confederates, segregationists.  (Virginia.  Figuring this is in Virginia, what do you think they will do?)

**  Loudon's segregationist symbols inventory finds 16 roads, Mosby Heritage Area.  (Virginia)

About Those Nagging Pedestals. Nancy, Monuments Are Down, Now What and a Confederate Manual

JULY 3, 2021

**  As Confederate monuments come down, the pedestals sometimes remain.  Why some consider that a troubling symbol.  (Sounds like a SPLC thing to me.  There is just no pleasing some people.  Also, evidently,  NCCRED.)

**  House  Speaker Nancy Pelosi writes letter asking Congress remove 11 Confederate statues from US Capitol.  (I am completely shocked that she would do something like this.)

**  Confederate monuments are coming down in NC.  What now?

**  House bill floats $1 M for renaming bases that honor  Confederate leaders, Fort Gordon included.

*************************************

JULY 4, 2021

**  Manual advises how to stop removal of Confederate statues:  don't mention race.  (This was put out by the SCV.  A very anti Confederate article from the Guardian.)

No Satisfying the SPLC, Schools, Flags, Charlottesville and Those Fringe Extremist Groups

JUNE 27, 2021

**  Waterman man  charged, allegedly  sets fire to confederate (Confederate) flag.  (New York.  Come on, 7 News.  PROPER NAME!!)

**  North Berwick  school district  struggles with response to Confederate flag and racism.  (Maine)

**  City councilors weigh options for statue's  ultimate fate.  (Charlottesville, Virginia.)

**  Columbia mayor apologizes to artist for 'harrowing' experience with city police.  (South Carolina)

**  A glossary of extremist and fringe movements.  (You can't tell whose who without a scorecard.)
