Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

So What If Your Country Fave Has Confederate Flags? If They Don't Like It They Can Go Listen To Some Rap. Virginia's Woke East University

FEBRUARY 20, 2021

**  Fort Monroe named Site of Memory associated with UNESCO Slave Route Project.  (Virginia.  Real Civil War history.  Not the revisionist college professor stuff they're trying to ram down our throats.)

******************************

FEBRUARY 21, 2021

**  The future of Confederate monuments.  (These are the ones at National Park Service parks.  The editorial was in favor of removing them.  Hopefully not.)

**  Luke Combs shares ways to honor southern heritage  without a Confederate flag.  (Pretty lame way.  He has come under fire for being seen around Confederate flags.  He should just tell detractors where to go.)

**  Luke Combs' Confederate flag apology sparks discourse among country fans.  (There have not been many black country music artists, just like there have not been many white rap, soul urban artists.  However, watching all the black country artists performing on CMT, I'm beginning to wonder.  But country does have the late great Charley Pride and Darius Rucker.)

**  University buildings in Virginia once named  after Confederates now  honour African Americans.  (James Madison University.  Why must all renamings be for Blacks?  Aren't there any whites who deserve names on buildings?  From the Washington Post -- and we know where they stand on these issues.  The Post points out that the school is named for the country's 4th president who also owned you-know-what.  Guess what the Post would like to happen?  Welcome Woke University East or the Harriett Tubman University.)

Mardi Gras Indian Replaces Davis in New Orleans. Who Should Pay for Removals? North Carolina, Tennessee, Country Music and Alabama.

FEBRUARY 17, 2021

**  Mardi Gras Indian display pops up at site of since-removed confederate monument in Mid-City.  (WDSU News 6 NBC.  Looks like a major TV channel would know about the word "Confederate."  On base of former Jefferson Davis monument.  However, if you're going to replace a Confederate monument with something, I can live with this.)

**  Confederate monument move is stalled; SuddenLink motion rejected in 5-4 vote by Pitt commissioners.  (Greenville, NC.  It has already been removed.  The question is to make a donation of it to the local SCV organization which plans to put it up on private property.  While standing, BLM committed one hate crime after another on it.  BLM and NAACP should pay all expenses to remove it and place it elsewhere.)

**  Bill Lee's exemplary handling of Confederate history.  (Governor of Tennessee)

**  Rep. Austin Scott   on panel to change  names of bases that honor Confederates.

FEBRUARY 18, 2021

**  Luke Combs apologizes for Confederate flag imagery.

**  Alabama House could take up Confederate memorial bills.

Trump, Texas, Virginia, Confederate Railroad and Kentucky Towns Racial Unity Logo

NOVEMBER 25, 2020

**  Donald Trump stands for Confederacy one last time.  (About the defense bill.  Big surprise to have an article like this in the Washington Post, a major BLM backer and anti-Confederate organ.  Them and the New York Times.)

**  Beaumont Council OKs Confederate statue sale.  (Texas.  Had a $25,000 offer, much lower than the $150,000 appraisal.)

**  Fate of three Confederate paintings in Texas Senate chamber is uncertain.  (Three portraits of Jefferson Davis, Albert Sidney Johnston and  John  H. Reagan.)

**  In Prince William County, Jefferson Davis Highway will soon be renamed Richmond Highway.  (Virginia.  Wait a minute, wasn't Richmond the capital of you-know-what.  Now called Sad R.)

**  President Trump vows to veto defense bill  over Confederate base names.  (See the first article in this post.  What the Democrats and Blacks can do is take the renaming part of the bill out and wait until Trump is gone, then pass another bill to rename the bases.  That will be one Biden will gladly sign.  No Problem!)

**  Wynonna  postpones visit, Confederate Railroad to Play Branson Star.  (Branson, Arkansas.  Wynonna canceled because of Covid.  Confederate Railroad to play instead.  The last several years, Confederate Railroad has come under attack because of their name and logo.  You know who is attacking them, even Illinois' Governor Toilets.  Their still out there, with the name and logo.  Congrats guys.  But you know that you're probably on that racist group SPLC's hit list with that name and logo.

**  City approves  racial unity  design for water tower.  (Paducah, Kentucky.  It has a white and black arm clasping over a U.S. flag.

Hey Chicks, Hey Lady A: Country Bands Change Names for BLM. Let's Change Names: Virginia Tech, Colleges, Street Names

JULY 10, 2020

**  PHOTOS:  Confederate street names in Wilmington (North Carolina)

**  More Confederate monuments removed in Richmond.

**  Pentagon leaders say they're evaluating  whether to remove Confederate symbols from military bases.

JULY 11, 2020

**  Sohn:  Is the Nathan Bedford Forrest bust in Tennessee's Capitol gone with the wind?  We certainly hope so.

**  Lady Antebellum country band is now Lady A.    The Dixie Chicks country band is now just the Chicks.  Wonder why they changed their names?  Just plain ridiculous.  You sold out.  No more music from you.  Shame on you.  Nothing says Confederate like Dixie or Antebellum, you know.

**  Racial reckoning  draws in namesakes of Virginia Tech's past.  (At least seven campus facilities honor men who  at one time or another owned slaves, served in the Confederacy or espoused white supremacist views.

**  James Madison University in Virginia will rename three buildings named after men who fought for the Confederacy.

Priceton is going to remove Woodrow Wilson's name from a college and a public policy school because of his racist policies.
