Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

Rename Fort Bragg for Union General Edward Bragg

NOVEMBER 14, 2022

**  The Army could have renamed Fort Bragg after Union General Edward Bragg.  (North Carolina.  I already have said this.  Union General Bragg commanded the famed Irom Brigade.  This would have been of considerable savings.)

Parades and Renaming

NOVEMBER 11, 2022

**  Confederate flag controversy spurs changes to Return Day Parade.  (Delaware)

**  Democrats protest against Confederate  flag during Return Day parade.  (Delaware.  Imagine Democrats protesting agains Confederate flags?)

**  Tense night as Montgomery board renames Lee, Jeff Davis high schools.  (Alabama.  Again, if the majority of the students are Blacks in these schools I completely back renaming the schools.  Both are renamed for Blacks.  Why does all renaming have to be for black people?  Are Blacks the only ones who deserve schools to be renamed for?)

NOVEMBER 11, 2022

**  82 schools have removed their racist namesakes since 2020.  Dozens now honor people of color.  (Sounds like a SPLC list to me.  At least none to my knowledge have been renamed to honor George Floyd, a man with no honor.  Also, can you get in trouble for referring to people of color?)

Another National Survey on Statue Removal

NOVEMBER 3, 2022

**  Southern attitudes toward Confederate monuments and reforming public spaces.  (Findings from a national survey.  Interesting numbers.  Of interest, every state in the South and even across the nation has 50% and more wanting them left in place or have context added to them.)

Of course, it is my belief that the absolute best way to determine how people stand on statue removal would be to put it to a vote.  I'd go along with the will of the majority of the people and also am fairly sure that, unless the people in a voting district are primarily Blacks, the vote will be to keep the statues.  Look what has happened in Virginia when it has been put to a vote.  Virginians have come a long way in my mind as to redeeming themselves, other than Sad R..
