Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

Der Bubba and der Mikey and NASCAR. Virginia, Daytona 500, Charlottesville, Alabama, North Carolina and Michigan

FEBRUARY 15, 2021

**  Confederate flags banned at Daytona 500.  (But, Der Bubba says his car will have a BLM color scheme.  That should be banned as well.  BLM means rioting, looting, burning and hate crimes.  That Bubba can sure play his Black Card.  And I see Chicago's Mr. Wonderful, M.J., is backing Der Bubba.  Must be something like his baseball career.)

**  NASCAR ramps up its diversity  and inclusion on and off the track.  (Yep.  Let's back looting, rioting, burning and hate crimes.)

**  Virginia High Court  will take up appeals in Lee statue case.

FEBRUARY 16, 2021

**  Marked by  These Monuments tour continues to contextualize  Charlottesville's Confederate statues.  (Virginia)

**  Alabama House lawmakers could take up  Confederate memorial bills.

**  For 'equality,' NC  commission is renewing  efforts to take down Confederate monuments.  NC Commission on  Racial and Ethnic Disparities)

**  4 people charged  after Confederate statue 'tarred and feathered,' painted with clown makeup.  (Allendale, Michigan.  And the people who did it boasted that they would get arrested.  Maybe there's still some justice out there.)

Confederadication: Tarring and Feathering a Criminal Offense? John Lewis, Macon, Negro Bar, and a Confederate Face Mask

JANUARY 23, 2021

**  Criminal charges   under review after  Confederate statue 'tarred and feathered,' painted with clown makeup.  (Allendale, Michigan. Two recent acts against the statue. The culprits admitted who they were, but not afraid, at the time, of breaking any law.  Maybe they were wrong?)

**  Task force backs John Lewis tribute at Confederate monument site.  Decatur, Georgia.  John Lewis deserves a statue or commemoration, but I'd hate to see it go up at the Confederate statue site.  That is rubbing salt into the wound.)

**  Macon wrestles with history over dispute over Confederate statues.  (Georgia)

**  'The Confederate flag starts flying':  Park's controversial name stirs debate over race and history.   (Folsom, California.  Park's name is "Negro Bar."  Well, you know, the name Negro.  This name comes from where black miners came during the Gold Rush days in the state.  I don't know, but to me, this would be a historical name and shouldn't be offensive.  You never think of black prospectors when you hear the words Gold Rush.)

**  On first day back at school, Oakville High student wears Confederate flag face mask.  (Missouri.  Again, are BLM face masks allowed?)

Confederadication: VCU, Confederate Flags, Trump, Lost Cause, Tarred and Feathered and a Portrait

JANUARY 9. 2021

**  VCU begins removing Confederate  names from buildings  (Virginia Commonwealth University.  You'll never guess what city this institution is located in?)

**  Explained:  The significance of the Confederate flag  being waved  inside the US Capitol.

**  Confederate flag tied to the door of Museum of Jewish Heritage in New York City.

**  What Trump shares with the 'Lost Cause' of the Confederacy.  (New York Times.  Surprise, surprise, surprise.)

**  Pentagon appoints Trump loyalist to Confederate  base renaming commission.  (Politico)

**  Confederate statue in Allendale 'tarred and feathered' by groups seeking removal.  (Michigan.  This was done by two black activist groups who say things like this will continue.  They are not afraid of getting in trouble because all of it will wash off.  The statue has a Union soldier and a black child)

**  The whole story in a single picture.  (The guy with the Confederate flag in US Capitol.)

**  Confederate general's portrait in SC will remain 'scorched'.  (Burned in a fire nearly a century ago, so BLM didn't do it.  Portrait of Wade Hampton.  Aiken County Historical Museum is going to restore it but leave scorch marks.)
