Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

Civil War II: Something Fishy in Sad R. Sorry, I Didn't See Many Confederate Flags January 6

JANUARY 7, 2022

**  Richmond, Va., awards contract to remove  Confederate monument pedestals.  (Sad. R.  As I pointed out before, a close friend of the mayor started a company just to remove Confederate stuff and stands to reap a whole lot of money.  Ain't politics great.  Right, buddy.)

**  'That was a blow' Cory Booker  describes seeing Confederate flags on Jan. 6th.  (A black senator from New Jersey.  He didn't like it at all.)

**  Makeshift noose and c(C)onfederate flags told her this was something different.  (Cori Bush, U.S. Rep. from Missouri.  A black woman.   I don't know, but I didn't see many Confederate flags in the crowd.  There were a whole lot of U.S. and Trump flags though.  I also did not see any nooses.  Sounds a bit Bubba W. to me.)

**  Biography of Braxton Bragg re-examines  legacy of 'hated' Confederate general.  (How about some none Civil War II news on occasion.)

**  Liberty County  Schools parents upset  after student shows up  wearing confederate (Confederate) flag costume.  (Hey WCTV, Confederate is a proper word.  Do you know what you're supposed to do with proper words? Bristol, Florida.  Two black parents were upset after their daughter had gotten in trouble last week for wearing a hair bonnet.  The student's Confederate attire was a whole lot over the top, though.  The parents had every right to be upset.)

**  It's time to change the names of Jacksonville's schools named after confederate (Confederate) leaders.  (Hey, Florida Times-Union, Confederate is a proper name.  Do you know what you're supposed to do with proper names?)

**  Belo Mansion in Dallas to be renamed  due to AH Belo's  ties to Confederate Army.  (Texas.  headquarters of the Dallas Bar Association.  Alfred Horatio Belo commanded a Confederate regiment during the war and was wounded twice.  There is also an A.H. Belo corporation which owns several newspapers.  I imagine that name will have be changed as well.)

**  Charlottesville's Confederate monuments can come down,  Virginia  supreme court rules.

**  Vance  monument:  County to help Asheville replace confederate (Confederate)  governor's obelisk.  (North Carolina.  Looks like the good folks at the Ashville Citizen-Times would know that Confederate is a proper name.  Replace the monument?  I had heard they were going to demolish it.  How low can that town and county go?)

**  Despite family heritage, Catawba County  citizen wants Confederate  statue moved.  (North Carolina.)

**  Why is an 8-foot-tall fence going up around confederate (Confederate) monument in Graham?  We got answers.  Graham, North Carolina.  Looks like the good folks at WFMY would know that Confederate is a proper name and needs to be capitalized.  Cost $32,000.  Hope the NAACP and BLM are paying for it.  Sorry to say that even an eight-foot-high fence will keep BLM from committing hate crimes.)

**  Virtual gallery seeks to reimagine Richmond's Confederate history.  (Sadly, these days, as far as I am concerned, Sad R. does not have any Confederate history.  Never had it either.)

**  Confederate monument move is stalled; SuddenLink motion rejected in 5-4 vote by Pitt commissioners.  (Greenville, NC.  It has already been removed.  The question is to make a donation of it to the local SCV organization which plans to put it up on private property.  While standing, BLM committed one hate crime after another on it.  BLM and NAACP should pay all expenses to remove it and place it elsewhere.)

**  Bill Lee's exemplary handling of Confederate history.  (Governor of Tennessee)

**  Rep. Austin Scott   on panel to change  names of bases that honor Confederates.

**  The Confederacy won (or thinks they won.)  (Boston Globe)

**  SC legislator  fighting to remove confederate (Confederate)  flag from license plates.  (WPDE.  You'd think someone there might know that Confederate is a proper name and should be capitalized.  Maybe they know the word should be capitalized, but are doing this to yank my chain?)

**  Trump's Republicans have dumped Lincoln  -- they're the Confederacy now.  (I might add that the Democrats have dumped the South and are the BLM Party now.  Anybody ever hear of a Yellow Dog Democrat in the South Before 1960?))

**  Process to remove confederate (Confederate) statue in Caldwell County continues months after approval.  (Looks like KXAN would know that Confederate is a proper name and should be capitalized.  Texas.  Who will pay the $20,000 to take it down and relocate it.  I think those that want it gone should pay.  Hey, put your money where your mouth is.)

So, What Was a Yellow Dog Democrat?  --Old Secesh

Okay, Now. Take Down the Lee Statue in Sad Richmond. Hurricane Laura 'Topples' Confederate Monument in Louisiana

AUGUST 28, 2020

**  Protesters, counter protesters converge at Marshall County courthouse over confederate flag.  (Albertville, Alabama.  The county still flies the Confederate flag and has a memorial at the courthouse.  Hey, TV station WHNT, Confederate is a proper name and should be capitalized.  It appeared to be peaceful on both sides.  No Days of Rage.  Plus the Confederate markers were not victims of hate crimes.)

**  Supreme Court of Virginia tosses  injunction in Richmond Confederate statue removal case.  (Good, hurry up and take the statue and pedestal down.  Every time I look at it now and see what BLM has done to it, I get very angry.  So, let's get to it governor and mayor.)

**  Hurricane Laura 'had other plans' for controversial  Confederate statue in Louisiana.  (Lake Charles.  150 mph winds toppled a tree which toppled the monument.  Two weeks ago, the city decided to keep it standing.  No word yet as to its fate.)

**  Caroline supervisors  must now decide where to relocate Confederate monument.  (Bowling Green, Va.)

**  To tears and cheers, the Portsmouth monument is being dismantled.  (Virginia.  Again, hurry up and get it down.  Seeing what the BLMers did to it angers me immensely.  If there ever was such a thing as a hate crime, they sure committed one here.)

**  Racist or history? Majority Latino and Black Texas high school debates changing its Confederate name.  Baytown, Texas.  15.2% Black, 72.6% Hispanic.  I am all in favor of changing the name.  Any time a Confederate-named high school is predominantly minority I am all for a name change.)
