Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

Which Side Is the Washington Post On? Only Their Hairdressers Know for Sure

DECEMBER 12, 2022

**  Groups in favor of removing Confederate statues holding rally Tuesday.  (Jacksonville, Florida)

**  Last publicly-owned Confederate memorial in Richmond comes down.  (Virginia.  The A.P. Hill statue and grave.  And it couldn't have come soon enough for me.  That place needs to be avoided.  I sure know that I will not set foot in the place in the future.)

****************************

DECEMBER 13, 2022

**  Which Confederate  statues are gone in the DMV -- and which remain?  (Washington Post.  This newspaper is so full of hatred for anything Confederate.)

****************************

DECEMBER 14, 2022

**  Opinion:    Richmond removing  its last Confederate statue is a joyous milestone.  (A big surprise editorial from this Confederate-hating paper.

Civil War II: Should Confederate Soldiers Who Died in Civil War be Honored on Memorial Day

MAY 27, 2022

**  Opinion:  Should Confederate soldiers who died in the Civil War be honored on Memorial Day?  (Herald-Bulletin, Anderson, Indiana.  This was put in the form of a vote:  Yes, No, Not sure.  The results:  Yes:  74.2%, No:  20.2% and Not Sure:  5.6%.  You'll never guess how I voted.)

**   End of the 'blue and gray?'  National commission considers mothballing  legendary insignia of the 29th Infantry Division.

**  Kansas'  Eisenhower was a great American.  Army base should honor him, not a Confederate.

**  Commission recommends  new names for Georgia forts Gordon and Benning.  (Recommending Gordon be renamed Eisenhower and Benning renamed Moore.)

At least they weren't renaming all after Blacks.

**  Fort Bragg citizen group unable to reach a consensus on name change.  (North Carolina)

************************************

JANUARY 26, 2022

**  Confederate statue could be moved out of Orangeburg Memorial Plaza.  (South Carolina.  Plans to move it to a cemetery where Confederate soldiers are buried.)

Confederadication: Washington Post Again, Alabama and the Rev.

JANUARY 24, 2022

**  Opinion:  Confederate heritage should not decide the fate of toppled monuments.  (Can you imagine the Washington Post saying something like this?  Amazing.)

**  Trial delayed  for man accused  of Selma Confederate monument theft.  (Alabama.  You mean it is actually wrong to do something illegal these days.  Who'd have "figgered."

**  We are in a Civil War; it is a war of good versus evil; and Democrats are the Confederate South.

**  Activist  pastor pushes back on claims he's not kin to  Robert E. Lee.  (That Rev. Rob. E. Lee again.)

Oh! That Confederate Flag!!! 'Confederate Flag Guy' Again. Let the People Vote, Not Politicians.

JANUARY 15, 2021

**  Man holding Confederate flag in Capitol during pro-Trump protest  turns himself in.  (The "Confederate Flag Guy."  From Delaware.)

**  Several more Capitol  rioters have been arrested including man who carried Confederate flag.  (New York Times.  I bet they are so happy.  Remember this during the summer BLM riots, guys.)

**  Op-ed:  Why it wasn't surprising to see Capitol rioters waving the Confederate flag.  (Chicago Tribune.)

*******************************

JANUARY 16, 2021

**  After year of racial reckoning, black lawmakers believe they can finally eliminate Confederate Heroes Day in Texas.

**  Stone Mountain Park official:  Confederate flags protected by law.

**  The ugly symbolism of Confederate flag in the Capitol.  (Chicago Sun-Times.  Unfortunately, the media seems more upset that there was a Confederate flag in the Capitol even more than the fact it was a crowd intent on disrupting and threatening the federal government while doing government business.)

**  Gwinnett officials vote to remove  Confederate statues from city square.  (Georgia.  I always hate to see politicians voting on this instead of the people.  So often, the politicians in the South are speaking for minorities when they do this, not the majority of the people.

Let the People Vote!!  --Old Secesh

Here's Hoping the Media Now Knows What a Riot Looks Like. Quit Calling BLM Riots Civil Unrest.

JANUARY 14, 2021

**  Survey seeks  input on replacement of Confederate statue.  (Warren County)

**  Opinion:  Are Confederate flags trouble in Idaho schools?  (Confederate flags in Idaho?  What gives there?)

**  Descendant of Robert E. Lee  says Confederate flag at the Capitol  was "attack on our democracy."

**  What does Fort Rucker renaming mean  for Rucker Blvd.?  (Alabama)

**  Troops lodged at Capitol in 1861.  It was a wreck when they left it.   (A bit of history.)

**  Years of white supremacy threats culminated in Capitol riots.

I'm Hoping That Now That Media Knows What a Riot Looks Like, They'll Quit Calling It Civil Unrest Like They Do With a BLM Riot.  --Old Secesh

How Long Does It Take a Confederate-Hater to Become Aware That They Hate Confederates? California, Statues, Virginia, Portsmouth, North Carolina and South Carolina

 SEPTEMBER 21, 2020

**  Op-Ed: California finally sweeps away  most of its tributes  to the Confederacy.  What took so long?  (Why did it take the writer so long to figure out he or she was offended by Confederate stuff?  One has to wonder?)

**  'Never to be seen again':  Where Confederate statues go after being taken from public spaces.

**  Augusta Commonwealth's Attorney to be appointed to determine future of investigation onto Stoney's confederate (Confederate) monument removal.    (Augusta County, Virginia.  Stoney is Sad R.'s mayor whose political contributor got a lucrative contract for his company formed a few days earlier to remove the Confederate statues in Sad R..)

**  Portsmouth Confederate monument  case has put spotlight on  magistrates.  Here's how they work.  (Virginia.

**  Neo-Confederate group members yell 'white power' during pro-Trump parade through college campus.  (Elon University, North Carolina.  Was this news directed at making the Trump campaign look bad?)

**  Man arrested for brandishing rifle at protest at the Battery.  (Charleston, South Carolina.  I fear that it is just a matter of time before there is use of guns at these protests.
