Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

**  Why Mark Twain had an incredibly brief stint as a Confederate soldier.  (Well, now I guess his books will have to be banned by the "woke" folks.)

**  Rare Confederate bank notes among highlights at upcoming auction.  (What will BLM, SPLC and NAACP think of that? Probably will have a problem with the term "Highlight".)

**  What to do about Stone Mountain?     Black residents talk park's racist past.  (Georgia)

**  Greenville police investigating stolen grave marker. (Greenville, North Carolina.  It is a pillar memorial.  Would this be vandalism or something else?)

NOVEMBER 22, 2022

**  Progress toward truth-telling at Georgia Confederate monument a 'positive step.'  (Stars and Stripes.  This would be Stone Mountain.)

Let Those Who Want Monuments Gone Pay for Them

MAY 6th, 2022

**  St. Landry Parish Confederate monument could be removed for free, or at least low cost.   (Louisiana.  I hate to see these contractors making so much money removing Confederate monuments, so this would be a good one.  But, I still say that all costs for removal, storage and relocation should be paid by those who want them removed.  No public money should be used.)

Wouldn't it be something if the other side would just allow memorial observances to go on without trying to interrupt them.

750, $782,000, Assault Charges and Stone Mountain

APRIL 1, 2022

**  More than 750 Defense Department items with names tied to the Confederacy listed for possible renaming.  (Let's just hope they're not all renamed for Harriet Tubman.)

**  Contract signed for Confederate monument removal.  (Caddo Parish, Louisiana.  $782,000 for removal and  relocation to Pleasant Hill Battlefield.  Let's hope that those who want it gone are paying for this.  Put your money where your mouth is.  This shouldn't be paid by public funds.)

JANUARY 25, 2022

**  Opinion:    How many Marylanders fought for the rebels  was overstated.  (Again, consider the source, the Washington Post.)

**  Stone Mountain  leaders grappling with business losses at the park's resort hotel.  (Georgia.  It's that Confederate thing, you know.  And, of course, that virus thing.)
