Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

That Charlottesville Again, Even Lewis & Clark (and Sacagawea) Aren't Safe From 'Woke.' , Far-right vs. Far-left Forms of Protest at UNC

JULY 13, 2021

**  Confederate statues removed from Charlottesville.  (Virginia.  Such a huge surprise!)

**  Charlottesville removes Lewis  and Clark statue featuring Sacagawea along with Confederate statues.  (Virginia.  I tell you, It's a statue feeding frenzy in that college town.)

**  Far-right activists protest with Confederate flags at UNC's Unsung Founders Memorial.  )North Carolina.  And those who pulled down the Silent Sam statue must have been Far-left.)

**  The traveling sculpture challenges the story Confederate statues tell.

**  Pasquotank Confederate monument  will soon head to private property in Nixonton.  (North Carolina)

**  Charlottesville removes Confederate statues, Putnam County may keep theirs.  (Florida)

JULY 14, 2021

**  A state-by-state list  of racist Confederate monuments that have been removed so far.  (Mic.  I'd like to know what those statues did to be considered to be racist.  Plus, this group wants all Confederate statues replaced with ones of black heroes. )

The Second Civil War: Charlottesville's 'Woke' Moment, Who Was Worse at Charlottesville Riot? I'd Say It Was a Tie. Mississippi's Capitol Statues

JULY 10, 2021

**  Charlottesville's Confederate  statues are coming down.  How did we get here?  (Virginia.  It's called "Woke.")

**  Confederate statues in Charlottesville to be removed after years long legal battle.

**  Confederate statue, site of white supremacist rally going  into storage.  (Charlottesville, Virginia.  The only group that was as violent as the white supremacists at that site were the anti-white supremacist people.)

******************************

JULY 11, 2021

**  There were eight articles on Charlottesville and two on the dueling rallies in South Carolina.

******************************

JULY 12, 2021

The False Cause, St. Augustine, Indian Wars, Lee Removed from Capitol

DECEMBER 21, 2020

**  Review:  New book seeks to differentiate between Confederate history and historic memory.   (With a book titles "The False Cause:  Fraud, Fabrication, and White Supremacy in Confederate Memory" you can kind of guess whose side Adam N. Domby is on.  Required reading for NAACP, BLM and SPLC.)

**  Letters:  Confederate memorial should have stayed put.  (St. Augustine, Fla., removed Gem Loring statue in the pre-dawn hours.  Why is it that so many Confederate statues come down during the night time?  Isn't that when the bad guys operate?)

**  Resolution to remove 'Indian War' cannon on Decatur City Commission agenda.  (Decatur, Georgia.  In June they removed the Confederate obelisk.  The removal of Indians  following the Creek Indian War of 1836.  It was placed by the UDC.)

**  Confederate  Gen. Robert E. Lee statue removed from U.S. Capitol.  (Taken shortly after 4 am.  Again, a night-time removal of a Confederate statue.  Night-time is the right time for criminals and other deluded people.  This at orders of the Va. governor, quite a piece of work.)

More Statues Toppled, Even U.S. Grant and Francis Scott Key

JUNE 20, 2020

**  Push to purge Confederate names gets minima; traction around Fort Hood, but military is paying attention.

**  How the Army might rename Confederate installations.

**  Statue of Confederate general toppled in DC.

**  NC governor orders removal of Confederate statues in Raleigh.

**  The Latest:  Trump tries to tie statue destruction to Dems.  (Well, if the shoe fits.)

**  Protesters tear down statues of Union general Ulysses S. Grant, National Anthem lyricist Francis Scott Key.  (Duh!!!   San Francisco.)

**  Confederate monuments continue to come down in racial justice protests.  (Not a "protest."  More of rioters committing hate crimes.)

**  Commentary:  How this new monument could move Charleston  forward.  (South Carolina.  The Confederate monument to the Defenders of Fort Sumter has been "vandalized" again.  The author wants monuments to Blacks put up at White Point Garden.)

**  Juneteenth march in Fort Myers draws crowd to commemorate the end of slavery.  (Florida.  And yet, all the parades for the 4th of July were canceled.)

At Least They Weren't Our Statues and a Funny Movie Trailer

March 18, 2020

**  Why activists are vandalizing statues to colonialism.  (The Conversation--  Statues around the world are being "vandalized" not just ours.  Two in Canada and one in South Africa.  Shows that a real can of worms has been opened.)

**  Activist filmmaker.  (From the March 17, 2020, Style Weekly.  Spike Lee's screenwriter, Kevin Willmott, has a mockumentary called "Confederate States of America."  Make sure you watch the movie trailer in the article.  It was hilarious.  I had to watch it twice.  So much better than just throwing red paint on a statue.

Since neither of these were attacks on Confederate statues I would have to classify that the virus moratorium is still on.

But seriously, make sure you watch the movie trailer.

Well Done.  --Old Secesh
