The city council voted 4-0 to give it to the Jefferson School African American Heritage Center. This is a travesty. Notice they didn't put it up to a public vote. It should have been turned over to the SCV or UDC.
All Confederate statues should be turned over to the UDC or SCV. All expenses should be paid for by those who want them taken down.)
