Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

New Orleans Prepares to Shame Itself Again

NOVEMBER 27, 2020

**  See 37 New Orleans  streets, sites up for renaming, and who would be newly honored:  City Council considers stripping ties to Confederacy, segregation, denial of civil rights.  (Way out of line.  Looking at the current names, everyone of them will be renamed after a black person.)

If New Orleans really wants to completely do away with its connections to these things, they need to tear down the whole city and rebuild elsewhere.  Why go part way when you can go all the way.  The city was built by slaves.

I notice Jackson Square is not under consideration for renaming.

By the way, New Orleans.  What has been done with the Confederate statues already taken down?  These should be turned over to UDC or SCV and all expenses paid for relocation.  Better yet, let the people who wanted them removed pay for it themselves.

Worth checking out the names and proposed new names.

At the very least, let the people decide on renaming.  Put it to a vote.  There should be enough Blacks and their white minions in New Orleans to pass renaming .

Renaming Confederate sites after Blacks is just a slap in the face and pouring salt into the wounds.

Towns Should Not Be Allowed to Sell Confederate Monuments. Arkansas, Ohio, Texas, Tennessee and Alabama

NOVEMBER 26, 2020

**  Bentonville Confederate monument to stay on National register of Historic Places (Arkansas.  Even though it has been moved.)

**  Petition askes for two Fairfield streets commemorating Confederate generals be renamed.  (Ohio.  Robert E. Lee Drive and Stonewall Lane.)

**  Enterprise editorial:  Beaumont Council was correct  to sell Confederate statue. (Texas.  Sold it for $25,000 after asking $50,000.  Appraised at $150,000.  Towns should not be able to sell these statues.  They need to be turned over to museums or better yet SCV or UDC.  All expenses should be paid by the cities are better yet, those who want them removed.)

**  Owner of land near I-65 holding controversial Confederate general statue has died.  (Nashville, Tennessee.  Nathan Forrest.  Has been "vandalized" often.  Those are actually hate crimes.)

**  Protests  continue in Albertville for the removal of Confederate monument and flag. (Alabama.  A fence was put up around them to keep BLMers from committing hate crimes.)

Trump Again, White Supremacist Militia, Texas and Sad R.,

NOVEMBER 26, 2020

**  Losing hasn't changed Trump's stance on white supremacy.  (New York magazine.  Trump still plans to veto defense bill over base name changes and won't condemn the white supremacist militias at Kenosha and Portland.  I personally do not like seeing weapons at potentially out-of-control situations like during BLM rioting, looting, burning and hate crimes.

However, the reporters don't say anything about whether BLM has the right to do their rioting, burning, looting and hate crimes.)

**  Texas Senate panel revisits debate over Confederate art at Capitol.

**  City Council receives bids from 22 who want Confederate statues.  (Had it been any other city than Sad R., this would be unbelievable.  The city should pay for not only the statues being taken down, but also provide funds to the SCV and UDC for putting them up elsewhere.  Plus, of course, funds need to be available for when BLMers and their white minions commit hate crimes at the statues in their new locations.)

**  Confederate monument to remain in place at courthouse.  (Kaufman County, Texas.  County commissioners voted against removing them.)

Trump, Texas, Virginia, Confederate Railroad and Kentucky Towns Racial Unity Logo

NOVEMBER 25, 2020

**  Donald Trump stands for Confederacy one last time.  (About the defense bill.  Big surprise to have an article like this in the Washington Post, a major BLM backer and anti-Confederate organ.  Them and the New York Times.)

**  Beaumont Council OKs Confederate statue sale.  (Texas.  Had a $25,000 offer, much lower than the $150,000 appraisal.)

**  Fate of three Confederate paintings in Texas Senate chamber is uncertain.  (Three portraits of Jefferson Davis, Albert Sidney Johnston and  John  H. Reagan.)

**  In Prince William County, Jefferson Davis Highway will soon be renamed Richmond Highway.  (Virginia.  Wait a minute, wasn't Richmond the capital of you-know-what.  Now called Sad R.)

**  President Trump vows to veto defense bill  over Confederate base names.  (See the first article in this post.  What the Democrats and Blacks can do is take the renaming part of the bill out and wait until Trump is gone, then pass another bill to rename the bases.  That will be one Biden will gladly sign.  No Problem!)

**  Wynonna  postpones visit, Confederate Railroad to Play Branson Star.  (Branson, Arkansas.  Wynonna canceled because of Covid.  Confederate Railroad to play instead.  The last several years, Confederate Railroad has come under attack because of their name and logo.  You know who is attacking them, even Illinois' Governor Toilets.  Their still out there, with the name and logo.  Congrats guys.  But you know that you're probably on that racist group SPLC's hit list with that name and logo.

**  City approves  racial unity  design for water tower.  (Paducah, Kentucky.  It has a white and black arm clasping over a U.S. flag.

The Second Civil War: Texas, Defense Bill, Democrats, Racism, Stamps and Titans

NOVEMBER 23, 2020

Stafford votes to cap limits on flagpole height  following Confederate flag removal.  (Virginia)

**  Dem divide over  Confederate bases  threatens massive defense bill.

**  Confederate flag barred as Niskayuna schools adopt anti-racist policy.  (New York.  However, nothing was said about racist BLM symbols.)

**  Texas  Senate committee wades into debate over tributes to the Confederacy  with focus on artwork.

**  Confederate Stamp Alliance votes to change  its name.  (They've had the name for  85 years.  Now will be called the Civil War Philatelic  Society.  Ridiculous.

**  Titans may be remembered, but T.C. Williams to be forgotten.  (T.C. Williams High School in Alexandria, Virginia.  Home of the Titans of the movie fame.  Name will be changed.  If the name has been offensive for that long, why is it just now being changed?)

Turning All This Into a Teachable Moment: T.C. Williams High School and Matthew Maury Elementary School in Arlington, Virginia

NOVEMBER 23, 2020

**  Alexandria turns  controversy into  opportunity by teaching  the history of Confederate namesakes.  (Virginia.  Much controversy about renaming two schools:  T.C. William High School and Matthew Maury Elementary.  T.C. Williams is a former superintendent who, according to Blacks, was a racist and wanted to keep schools segregated.  Maury, of course, was a Confederate.

This is a very teachable moment for the kids.  As long as it is a balanced look at the two men.  Along with racists or segregationist tendencies of the two men, their other accomplishments should be noted as well.  Let the kids make up their own minds.

By the way, T.C. Williams High School is the one in the movie "Remember the Titans" about the black and white school football players after the school was integrated in 1971.)

Good teachers always take advantage of a good teaching moment.

NOVEMBER 22, 2020

**  Alabama  Attorney General sues Madison County over removal of Confederate statue.  (Huntsville)

**  Georgia city to remove Confederate monument from park.  (Brunswick)

**  Water-damaged items salvaged from Confederate statue's time capsule in Albemarle.  (Charlottesville, Virginia)

**  House Democrats  consider slower timeline for renaming bases that honor Confederates.  (U.S. Congress.  Now supporting three years to change names.  Of course, Democrats are the black party.  I'm for changing the names, but don't ant every one of the Confederate-named bases named after Blacks.  I'm sure that is what the Democrats want.)

**  Lawyers request removal of KKK leader's remains from Memphis.  (Nathan Forrest, of course.  The SCV want the remains to be reinterred with them.)

NOVEMBER 21, 2020

**  Defense bill in danger over Confederate-named  military bases like Fort Hood.  (Texas)

**  State of Alabama sues Madison County over relocation of Confederate monument.  (One-time fine of $25,000.  Those who wanted it moved should pay the fine as well as all costs associated with moving it.)

**  Brunswick votes to remove Confederate statue once legal questions are resolved.  (Georgia)

**  CAIR welcomes removal of Wisconsin rock with racist  history, decries vote to keep Confederate statue in Virginia..  (CAIR is an Islamic civil rights and advocacy group.  The Wisconsin boulder is one that students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison have called for years as the "N word head" rock.  Why are the Islamic folks getting involved with this?)

About That Defense Bill. The Talbot Boys, Alabama and Trump

NOVEMBER 19, 2020

**  Forts named after Confederate generals could be a sticking point for NDAA.  (National Defense Act)

**  Sen. Inhofe is blocking  efforts to rename Army bases  that honor Confederate  generals, Democrats say.  (Sen. Jim Inhofe (R. Oklahoma)

**  Military pay raise at risk in dispute over naming bases with Confederate names.

**************************************

NOVEMBER 20, 2020

**  After rejection, advocates continue push to remove  Confederate Talbot Boys statue.  (Talbot County, Maryland.  Earlier this year, the County Council voted to keep it.  Talbot County is only 12.8% Blacks.  Of course, if they put it to a vote by the people it will be kept.)

** Confederate names, and Trump's veto threat, the only roadblock to $740 billion  defense bill.

**  Commission votes to remove Confederate monument.  (Brunswick)

**  Fence place around  Confederate monument at Marshall County Courthouse.  (Marshall County, Alabama.  For protection against BLM hate crimes.)

Personally, I support renaming the Army bases.  These men did fight against the United States.  However, I don't want all of the bases renamed for black military members.  I also think that those who are so driven to demand renaming should be made to pay for it.

NOVEMBER 19, 2020

**  Virginia's Franklin County won't move its Confederate statue.  (The people have voted to keep it.)

**  Task force  to seek removal of Asheville's Confederate monument it calls 'symbol of white supremacy.'  (North Carolina.  The Gov. Vance statue.  This city is sure becoming North Carolina's Sad City.)

**  The 126-year fight to change Mississippi's state flag.

**  Trump's Confederate base  veto threat imperils defense bill.

**  Toppled,  warehoused, waiting:  Confederate statue still in limbo in DC.  (Statue of Albert Pike was toppled and "vandalized."  Both are hate crimes.  Nothing happens if hate crimes are committed against Confederate statues and memorials.)

**  Committee formed to help determine Confederate statue's fate.  (Berryville, Clark County, Virginia)

**  The history of Craven Quad's  namesake, a slave owner and Confederate supporter.  (Duke University, North Carolina.  Braxton Craven.  You know what they want done to the name.)

Confederadication: Texas' 'Colonel', Virginia, North Carolina, Alabama, South Carolina

NOVEMBER 18, 2020

**  Garland ISD  drops ties to Confederate past after board votes to change  a high school  mascot.  (Texas.  Their mascot was named "The Colonel."  The name colonel does not exactly denote Confederate, but it was dressed in gray.)

**  Police chief who backed charges against lawmaker in Confederate   statue case fired.  (Virginia.  And, I am hoping she files a lawsuit against Portsmouth and the state senator.  That state senator was guilty of inciting a riot and causing it to sink into illegal actions.)

**  Asheville Confederate Vance monument  should be removed, not  repurposed: task force members.  (North Carolina)

**  Franklin County  leaders vote unanimously to keep Confederate  statue  in front of courthouse. (Virginia.  Earlier the people of the county had voted overwhelmingly to keep it.  You go with what the people want, not what a minority wants.)

Something Else Stinks in Virginia. North Carolina, Voting to Remove Those Statues

NOVEMBER 17, 2020

**  Charges dismissed against Sen. Louis Lucas in  Confederate monument case.  (Portsmouth, Virginia.  This woman agitated crowds to desecrate a Confederate monument in that city.  She was guilty as all get out and got off thanks to the "judicial" system in the state.  There is definitely something mighty wrong with public officials in that state.

And the police chief who had her arrested was fired for doing her job.  The stink just gets worse in this state.

The few times the people have spoken, they voted to keep the statues.

Virginia needs a huge recall effort or how long before the rascals can be voted out?

**  Business as usual one month after statue departure.  (Lexington, North Carolina.

**  New lawsuit provides model for attorneys seeking to remove Confederate  monuments.  (Gaston County, North Carolina.)

NOVEMBER 17, 2020

**  Enslaved, terrorized,  disenfranchised: Black Americans still found ways to change America.  (New York Times.  Big surprise that they would print an article like this.

**  Virginia  police chief fired as  felony charges dropped in Confederate vandalism  case.  (Portsmouth.  A Virginia state senator riled a crowd to destroy a Confederate monument.  Why she would still be allowed to be in the state government could only happen in a state that has descended into the depths as far as Virginia.  She should be in jail.  What she was trying to have happen was nothing less than a hate crime, something that is generally frowned upon unless it is against something Confederate.

Plus, obviously her devious power reaches far enough to get someone for for doing their job correctly.  Only in Virginia.  What has happened to Virginia?

**  Franklin, Tennessee's 'Fuller Story' is focus of  first Confederate Reckoning   event Dec. 3.

Smith who served in the Confederate Army and  a memorial to VMI cadets who fought as a unit at the Battle of New Market.  (This is a very disturbing thing.  That Virginia governor had a hand in this.  About time for a recall if you ask me.  But, how could the council do this?)

**  NC NAACP  chapter sues Gaston  County over Confederate monument.  (Imagine a group like NAACP suing for this.  Kind of racist of them, isn't it.)

**  'A New Dawn': How four young black activists powered movement to remove Confederate emblem from Mississippi flag.  (By the Southern Poverty Law Center, an ultra racist group.  Maybe those four young people would better have served the cause by getting Blacks to stop shooting and killing each other in Chicago.

By the way, according to Hey Jackass, Chicago mayhem this past weekend so far resulted in 3 dead and 20 shot, mostly Blacks.   Last week's totals 11/9 to 11/14:  16 killed, 57 wounded.  November to Date:  30 killed, 134 wounded and 2020 so far:    642 killed and 3089 wounded.  Not all of these killings and woundings were Blacks, but the vast majority were.

All of this is so much more of a danger to Blacks than Confederate flags or statues.

Confederadication: Name That School. Monumentless Avenue in Sad R., A New Home After the Dead of the Night.

NOVEMBER 10, 2020

**  Abilene ISD (Independent School District) asks community to rank names  for Confederate schools.  (Texas.  These are schools with Confederate names that are going to be changed.  They have a list of 12 names to replace the names of Lee, Jackson and Johnston schools.  I imagine these are all black names.  Hopefully some are not of activists but are of blacks who have succeeded on their own.)

**  Richmond's Confederate Avenue now Laburnum Park Boulevard after city council renaming.  (Sad R.  I also would recommend that the name of Monument Avenue be changed to something other than a black name.  Perhaps Monumentless Avenue.  And, there should be no statues of anybody along it.  Move the Arthur Ashe statue somewhere else and the art museum's statue across the street.)

**  Fairfax Confederate statues removed,  set to be relocated.  (Virginia.  The John Quincy Marr Monument will go to the Stuart Mosby Historical Society and the  two cannons to the Manassas National Battlefield  Park.  Glad they found new places for the items.  Again, they were removed during the dead of the night.  Something about statue removals at night, you know.)

Taking a Day Off to Salute All of Our American Military on Veterans Day 2020

They are the reason why we have the liberties and freedoms as well as the opportunities to succeed.  There are those who would rather we not have them.  These are the thing desert fatigues line that protects us.

And, that includes the American veterans who wore the gray during the Civil War.

Every one of my blogs today is saluting all American veterans.

In keeping with this, a World War II veteran and a Rosie the Riveter were honored in Centerville, Ohio, today.

**   1st Lt. Walter Pettit, 97, was a member of the Army Air Corps  and saw action in the skies over France and Germany, flying a P-47 Thunderbolt.

**  Ruth Snively, 95,  worked at the Seeburg Factory in Chicago as one of the war's "Rosie the Riveters."  Seeburg was known for their jukeboxes, but during the war made sonar sets for the Navy.

I have my U.S. flags out flying proud.  Hope you have yours as well.

Thank You veterans and, of course, the Greatest Generation.

**  Residents vote to keep Confederate statue in front  of Franklin Co. courthouse.  (Virginia.  A huge majority, 21,152, voted to keep it where it is.  But, it is not binding on the Board of Supervisors who will have the final say.)

**  Long at odds with Trump, Defense Secretary  Esper has prepared a letter of resignation.  (But is till pushing to remove Confederate names from Army bases.)

**  2 south Arkansas  counties vote to keep  Confederate monuments.

**  City defers vote on Confederate monument.  (Brunswick, Georgia)

I was wondering how people in the Southern states felt about the monuments.  Now they speak.  So sorry Democrats, liberals, BLMers and white minions.  Of course, this is why they don't want to put it to a vote.

Well At Least We Don't Have to Have BLM Rioting, Looting and Burning

With the election of Joe Biden as the next president, the major cities of the United States can breathe a sigh of relief as there will not be any rioting.  They were prepared for it.

If Donald Trump would have won, BLM and their white minions would have been out in the streets and we would have a repeat of what happens so often when BLM commits to "peaceful demonstrations" which turn into, as the media puts it, "civil unrest."  This is actually what most call rioting, looting and burning.

Since Joe Biden won, you will not be seeing Trump supporters out BLMing it as it were.  Congratulations to President-Elect Biden.  The people have spoken.

Just As I Hoped, the People Vote No to Statue Removal in Virginia in the Six Counties Where It Was On the Ballot

NOEMBER 3, 2020

**  Mississippi:  Will magnolia replace  old rebel-themed flag.

**  Civil War marker in Jefferson City will be returned to  donors.  (Missouri)

***********************************

NOVEMBER 4, 2020

**  Voters support keeping  Confederate statue where it is.  (Lunenburg County, Virginia.   The vote was 4,149 (71.19%) to 1,683  (28.1%)  It is not binding however.  But majority of the Board of Supervisors say they will honor the people's vote.

**  Mississippi voters decide to replace  Confederate-themed state flag.

**  Update:  Charles City votes no to advisory on moving  Confederate statue.  (Virginia.  More than 55% voted not to remove the statue.  It was one of six Virginia counties holding votes on the issue.  It appears at this time that all six voted to keep the statues where they are.  Maybe there is some hope for Virginia, but they will absolutely have to get rid of their elected folks.

NOVEMBER 3, 2020

**  Mississippi Board says town can move Confederate statue.  (Columbus)

**  Not all Confederate images gone from SEC states.

**  Pensacola Confederate monument  likely won't be reassembled in one place.  (Florida)

**  Upstate NY town finally votes against racism, but won't ban Confederate flag.  (Tupper Lake, New York)

**  The Confederacy is Dead.

**  Did Graham law enforcement tip off neo-Confederates.  (North Carolina.  A very biased account.  Anytime you see the word neo-Confederate used, you know which side the writer is on.)

And, Unlike BLM, I Will Abide By What the People Vote

The sad thing about the people voting in the few places where it happened Tuesday, is that if BLM lose, and the people vote to let the statues remain, they will continue committing hate crimes on the monuments and demanding their removal until they can get some of the spineless politicians to do their dirty work.

On the other hand, I am fully willing to abide by the vote.  If the people vote to remove them, then remove them.  And that will be that.

However, the monuments must be removed to a museum, cemetery or some other site deemed acceptable to either the SCV or UDC.

It Sure Will Be Interesting to Find Out How the Confederate Monument Removal Voting Went

Well, at least those horrible mud-slinging hate politician commercials are over as of yesterday.

But, I look forward to seeing how the voting went yesterday on the referendums involving the Confederate monuments.

It is my thought, that in most cases, the people will say to keep those statues where they are.

Of course, those in BLM and their white minions don't want people to vote as they are afraid they will lose.  They'd rather go after politicians who are usually too afraid to stand up to BLM bullying.

But, we will see.  Maybe I am wrong.

Let's See....  --Old Secesh

A Deeply Troubling Election, Cities Preparing for BLM Riots and Looting

It was with much consternation that I saw news clips over this past weekend about Chicago's preparations for tomorrow's election.  It is going to be all forces out to prevent anticipated rioting depending upon the election's outcome.

It is a sad day that this country has come to this.

And, we know who will be doing the burning, looting and rioting.  They have already done it twice in Chicago since he end of May.

Rest assured, if Joe Biden wins, Trump supporters will not be out in the streets rioting.  But, if Donald Trump wins, you can bet that BLM and their white minions will be doing their usual thing.  And that is burning, looting and rioting.

Media will be out in force on those streets.  Always makes for good ratings.

Removal of Confederate Statues at Gettysburg Would Be a Mistake. VMI, Alabama, Voting on Removal and Memphis

OCTOBER 31, 2020

**  VMI to relocate Confederate statue.  (Lexington, Virginia Military Institute.  A very sad day when this venerable institution no longer wants to be connected to a man who essentially is VMI, Stonewall Jackson.)

**  Marshall County to spend $3,000 to protect Confederate monument, flag.  (Albertville, Alabama  This money should come from BLM, even though the fences are going up because of BLM activity.)

**  Alabama County plans fence  to protect Confederate monument.  (Albertville, Alabama.)

**  General election results for moving Confederate symbols in Franklin and Halifax counties on Nov. 3, 2020.  (North Carolina.  It will certainly be interesting to see how voting of statue removals shows tomorrow.  My thought is that most of the votes will go toward keeping the monuments, but, we will see.)

**  The 901:  What's next for Memphis parks now that Confederate statues are gone?  (Tennessee)

**  Monumental  issues:  Gettysburg's Confederate monuments tie into today's racial reckoning.  (Some want them removed (guess who?).  That would be a huge mistake.  Hopefully the NPS won't give into the Democrats and BLMers and their white minions.)

**  Exploring the history and  and significance  of Confederate statues on Stronger Together.

While Banning Hate Symbols, Schools Should Include BLM Symbols

OCTOBER 30, 2020

**  Conspicuous Confederate flag on I-95 in Stafford County removed.  (Virginia.  Eminent domain.)

**  VMI to remove statue of Confederate Gen. Stonewall Jackson.  (Virginia.  Very sad day.)

**  Clarksville to consider $3400 settlement in complaint over temporary removal of Confederate sign.  (Tennessee)

**  Charges filed  following incident at Confederate flag and monument sit-in.  (Alabama)

**  Confederate flag, swastikas,, other hate symbols banned from school property.  Howard County, Maryland.  Hopefully they also banned anything kind of BLM logo since those mean rioting, looting, arson and hate crimes.  They are REAL symbols of hate.)
