** Garland ISD drops ties to Confederate past after board votes to change a high school mascot. (Texas. Their mascot was named "The Colonel." The name colonel does not exactly denote Confederate, but it was dressed in gray.)
** Police chief who backed charges against lawmaker in Confederate statue case fired. (Virginia. And, I am hoping she files a lawsuit against Portsmouth and the state senator. That state senator was guilty of inciting a riot and causing it to sink into illegal actions.)
** Asheville Confederate Vance monument should be removed, not repurposed: task force members. (North Carolina)
** Franklin County leaders vote unanimously to keep Confederate statue in front of courthouse. (Virginia. Earlier the people of the county had voted overwhelmingly to keep it. You go with what the people want, not what a minority wants.)
** Protesters clash over Confederate monument, respect for veterans.(Albertville, Alabama)
** Four Lee County public schools to change names away from Confederate leader. (South Carolina. Robert E. lee)
