** Forts named after Confederate generals could be a sticking point for NDAA. (National Defense Act)
** Sen. Inhofe is blocking efforts to rename Army bases that honor Confederate generals, Democrats say. (Sen. Jim Inhofe (R. Oklahoma)
** Military pay raise at risk in dispute over naming bases with Confederate names.

** After rejection, advocates continue push to remove Confederate Talbot Boys statue. (Talbot County, Maryland. Earlier this year, the County Council voted to keep it. Talbot County is only 12.8% Blacks. Of course, if they put it to a vote by the people it will be kept.)
** Confederate names, and Trump's veto threat, the only roadblock to $740 billion defense bill.
** Commission votes to remove Confederate monument. (Brunswick)
** Fence place around Confederate monument at Marshall County Courthouse. (Marshall County, Alabama. For protection against BLM hate crimes.)
Personally, I support renaming the Army bases. These men did fight against the United States. However, I don't want all of the bases renamed for black military members. I also think that those who are so driven to demand renaming should be made to pay for it.
