Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

**  Man who stormed the Capitol with dad gets two years.  (About the January 6 assault on the building.  Everyone who entered the building as they did should have to pay one way or another.)

**  Son of Confederate flag-wielding rioter  sentenced to 24 months for  Jan. 6 breach.  It was indeed a riot.  However, what happened back in May-June 2020 after the Floyd murder was not called riots.)

**  Confederate monuments moved in Macon after years of dispute.  (Georgia)

Confederadication: That Trace Adkins Guy, NASCAR, Louisiana and Alabama

Confederate Flags in Canada, Time Capsules, Austin and the N.C. State Alma Mater Song

FEBRUARY 19, 2022

**  Black drivers who saw this Confederate flag in London, Ontario, have a message for homeowner.  (Canada.  Yet, we have to look at BLM signs, flags, tee shirts all over the place.  That offends me.  But, I don't count because I'm white.  Everybody knows only Blacks can be offended these days.)

**  Workers find a  box under Jefferson Davis Confederate monument.  (Sad R.)

**  Austin's Confederate Avenue will be renamed.  (Texas)

**  NC State removes  Confederate term Dixie from  alma mater song.  (Gosh.  The offending words were "Where the winds of Dixie softly blow o'er the fields of  Caroline."  At least they didn't say cotton (you know, slaves picking it).  Maybe change it to the "winds of BLM or George Floyd.")

How Ridiculous Can This Get.  Evidently More So.  --Old Secesh

**  How a Confederate daughter  rewrote Alabama history for white supremacy.   (Mary Bankhead Owen.  Director of the Alabama Department of Archives and History.)

**  Another  time capsule apparently found while removing Richmond Confederate monument.  (Jefferson Davis statue pedestal.)

I still, can't believe that all the Confederate statue stuff was given to the black history museum when it should have been turned over to the SCV and the UDC.

What Would You Expect From the Montgomery Confederate White House?

FEBRUARY 6, 2022

DECEMBER 17, 2021

**  Confederate monument removed from outside Caldwell County  courthouse.  (Lockhart, Texas)

**  Confederate heritage  remains engraved  on Fifth Street bridge.  (Augusta, Georgia. Named the Jefferson Davis Memorial Bridge.  Do you think they want a name change?  Probably rename it the George Floyd Bridge after this wonderful example of a man.)

**  Who are the Sons of Confederate Veterans?  (The Nation.  A bunch of neo-Confederates.   A very negative piece.)

**  Crews may have found  1887 time capsule in Lee statue base.  (Sad R. The governor had said the pedestal would remain, but has since reversed that decision. Well, he finally did something good.  Thank you governor.  That eyesore (that he lauded) should have been taken down the same time as the statue removed.)

****************************

DECEMBER 18, 2021

**  Storied  29th Infantry patch possibly on  chopping block due to Confederate ties. (U.S. Army.  It has a blue-grey yin-yang symbol on it.  And you know that wokesters now hold the color grey to be "Bad."

House Votes to Toss Taney Bust, Confederate Statues-- Part 5

Three other statues honoring white supremacists -- including former U.S. Vice President John C. Calhoun of South Carolina --  would also be immediately removed under the legislation.  Longer-term, the architect of the Capitol would be instructed to identify any other statues depicting those who served in the Confederate States of America for removal from public display.

The statues would go back to the states that sent them.  The statue of Jefferson Davis, for example, would be returned to Mississippi and that of Alexander Hamilton Stevens would be returned to Georgia.

Davis served as the Confederacy's president and Stephens its vice president.

Each state gets to submit two statues for display in the Capitol.  When the donated statue arrives, it is placed in a location selected by the Joint Committee on the Library, a group of ten law3makers from both chambers that oversees works of fine art in the building.

As I Said Before, I Am in Favor of Removing All Confederate Statues from the U.S. Capitol.  --Old Secesh

The Second Civil War: Sad R. and the Lee Statue, No More Bricks For You, Alabama, a Prison and Ditch the Rebel

JUNE 7, 2021

**  Virginia Supreme Court to hear cases challenging  removal of Confederate statue.  (Sad R. Robert E. Lee statue.  They can't take it down fast enough to suit me.  That town and mayor need to be greatly embarrassed about what they've done to it.)

**  Texas city  ends brock program amid Confederate controversy.  (Georgetown, Texas.    People could buy a brick for $50 in memory  of any citizen or veteran and it was placed on a sidewalk around the county courthouse.  A money raiser for the Williamson County Historical Society.  Nine were bought honoring Confederate soldiers or officials.  You know who got offended so now no one gets a brick.  Sometimes that other side is completely ridiculous.)

**  Virginia universities reckon with Confederate symbols.  (Here something else they can do.  If they were established before the Civil War, they need to close down because of the shame of slavery.  Since the name Virginia was given while slavery was still in existence, the name Virginia must be removed from its name.  It will now be The University in Charlottesville and Commonwealth University in Sad R.)

**  What's the plan to move the Confederate monument in Shreveport?  (Louisiana)

**  Bill by  Dallas State Rep. Anchia would remove Confederate  monuments from Texas Capitol.  (Of course, this is a Democrat thing.  Looks like he did his homework as he has quite an extensive list of stuff he wants gone from outside and inside:

Portrait of Jefferson Davis

MARCH 16, 2021

**  House committee  approves bill critics say  aims to keep Confederate monuments  on state Capitol grounds.  (West Virginia)

**  Fort Myers quoted in the range of $60,000 to remove Robert E. Lee pedestal.  (Florida.  That seems to be a tad high.  Real high.  Someone's looking to get rich.  Must be a mayor's bud.  Let the BLMers and their white minions at it.  They'll do it for free.  But messy, very, very messy.  Maybe a $10 donation to take a whack at it with a sledge hammer.)

***********************************

MARCH 17, 2021

**  Virginia Beach Confederate monument still in storage, committee didn't   support either proposal to move it.  (Virginia.)

**  $200,000 worth of damage  done to presidents, Confederate graves at Virginia Cemetery.  (Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond.  More than 18,000 Confederate soldiers, generals and Jefferson Davis buried there.  No damage to president Monroe and Tyler graves.  No damage done to any clearly Confederate graves either.  Richmond police chief and mayor up in arms about it.  Which is kind of funny considering what they have allowed to happen to Confederate monuments in that city.)
