**  Alabama police issue arrest warrant over stolen Confederate monument.  (That chair again.)

**  Community activists urge Florence City Council members to move Confederate monument.  (Alabama.  Well, at least they are urging and not demanding.  Again, how do you get to be a community activist?)

**  Anti-Confederate protesters march at SMPA.  (Sand Mountain, Alabama)

**  Maryland's racist, pro-Confederate  state song has been repealed.  ("Maryland, My Maryland" is out.  Might I recommend "We Is Woke, Oh We Is Woke" as a replacement.  And, it goes to the same tune.)

**  From Charleston to Minneapolis, America grapples with symbols of slave-owning past.

So Sad That Cities Across America Have to Prepare for BLM Riots As Decision in Minneapolis Approaches

What has the United States come to where anytime court decisions are handed down that a certain group of people don't like, every city has to prepare for the inevitable BLM riots (even though our extremely biased media refers to it as peaceful demonstrations and civil unrest)?

So sad.

Now, I agree with PEACEFUL DEMONSTRATIONS, but that is rare when that certain group is involved.  It degenerates to confrontation with authorities, lots of really bad language, burning, looting and in general rioting.

This did not happen when O.J. was acquitted in one of the most racist trials in U.S. history, but that was because that certain group got what they wanted.

Wouldn't it be something is the verdict goes against Blacks and their BLM, if they did have peaceful demonstrations?

We don't need another 2020.

I guess some folks need those new large screen HDTVs, top of the line cell phones, jewelry and clothes.

Protesters Target Confederate Statues in Some Cities-- Part 1: Mississippi, Charleston and Raleigh

Protesters marching about the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis also attacked Confederate statues in several cities.  Monuments in Virginia (no surprise there), the Carolinas and Mississippi.  I haven't read the whole article but am sure those "people" in Charlottesville got a chance to spew forth their racist hatred as usual.

The words "spiritual genocide" were sprayed on the Confederate monument on the University of Mississippi campus.  In Charleston, S.C., the base of the "Confederate Defenders" monument was defaced with "BLM" and "traitors."  I have written a lot about this statue in my Civil War blogs.

In Raleigh, N.C., the Confederate monument at the state capitol was marked with an "X" and a shorthand  for a phrase expressing contempt for the police.  The word racist was also written on the monument.

I wonder if these persons committing the looting and hate crimes know that they are doing a whole lot to reelect Donald Trump.
