Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

History of Confederate Statues and Why They Divide Us. Fort Moore? Sad R.'s Pesky Pedestals, Another Hate Crime and Loudon Co.'s Sign Problem

 JULY 5, 2021

**  BEW POV doc explores the history of Confederate statues -- and why they divide us.

**  Why the Confederacy failed to recreate the American Revolution.

**  Family of Bardstown  Army leader seeks to rename Fort Benning after parents.  (Bardstown, Kentucky.  For their father, Lt. General Hal Moore, a Vietnam hero.  At least he is not a black person.  I worry that ALL bases will be named for Blacks.)

**  Monuments, pedestals  on the agenda of Richmond's Planning Commission on Tuesday.  (Virginia.  Guess what sad R. will determine here.)

**  Jackson statue vandalized. (Charlottesville, Virginia.  Again, this is not vandalism, it is a hate crime.  Treat it as such.  If a white person did that to a black person's statue, it sure would be called a hate crime.  Level the field.)

**  Loudon County weighs what to do with roads named for Confederates, segregationists.  (Virginia.  Figuring this is in Virginia, what do you think they will do?)

**  Loudon's segregationist symbols inventory finds 16 roads, Mosby Heritage Area.  (Virginia)
