** Confederate statues can teach us meaningful lessons.
** Charlottesville: Confederate statue removed. (BBC. Virginia. Again, the confrontation there is blamed on white nationalists, who definitely deserve blamed. But it was also caused by the extreme leftist who showed up spoiling for a fight.
I was glad to see that the sorry excuse who drove his car into the leftists has received a life sentence. I had heard nothing about that before. Probably out of fear that if BLM or others heard about it that there would have been rioting, burning and looting. I figured he was be executed for his foul deed.)
** 'Slowly but surely he's recovering'!: Man hit by Confederate statue in Portsmouth back home. (Virginia. I am glad he survived. The story was that he was trying to get others out of the way as it began to fall. Sure. And he was just going out to the local convenience store at 3 in the morning to get a Slurpee. He should now be arrested. Although I must admit that I enjoyed seeing the reaction of the young white woman sitting on the statue and having the joyous time of her life when she saw what happened.)
** Letter to the Editor: A mistake to remove Confederate statues.
