It Sure Would Be Nice If Some Media Outlets Would Figure Out That the Word Confederate Is a Proper Name and Should Be Capitalized: New York, Arkansas, Virginia, North Carolina and Mississippi

**  Protesters  call for change after fire department displays confederate flag.  (Guess what, the word Confederate is considered a proper name.  Should be CAPITALIZED!!!  Long Island Advance, New York.  I noticed one wearing a BLM tee shirt.  I find that offensive.)

**  Fort Smith attorney says removal of flags from city park an effort to cancel history.  (Fort Smith, Arkansas)

**  Police chief on leave after confederate (Confederate) statue charge.  (Portsmouth, Virginia.  Sounds like BLM audacity against someone willing to say what BLM (and that state senator) did too that monument was a criminal act, which it was.  Not only that, but it was a hate crime.  The senator has long reach evidently.)

**  Protests continue over Confederate monument in Gaston. (North Carolina)

**  Rally at Harrison County courthouse.  (Gulfport, Mississippi.  Protesters and counter-protesters)

**  Hundreds debate the future of Confederate monument in Isle of Wight, board to vote later this month.  (Smithfield, Va.  Again, let the people vote on the decision, not any group of politicians.)
