Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

There Should Be No Weapons Allowed at Confrontations (Other Than Police and Troops): South Carolina, Mississippi, Georgia, New York

SEPTEMBER 5, 2020

**  Boseman's hometown approves memorial but won't remove Confederate statue.  (Anderson, S.C.  Well, good for them.  Boseman definitely deserves a statue.  But the 60,000 people who signed the petition to have his statue replace the Confederate one were greatly disappointed that it would not replace the Confederate one at the courthouse which is protected by S.C. law.)

**  City of Pensacola begins process of removing Confederate monument.  (Florida.  The city began accepting bids.  It is my belief that the people who want the statue removed should also put their money where their mouths are and pay for it themselves.)

**  'We have to meet a common ground':  Protesters  line street near Dublin Confederate monument.  (Dublin, Georgia.  The two sides definitely didn't meet any common ground.)

**  Two Long Island firefighters resign after Confederate flag incident got them suspended. (And, when will be able to do something about people wearing those really offensive BLM tee shirts.  Hopefully they will also be banned in schools as being racist.)

SEPTEMBER 6, 2020

**  Task force:  Take the Confederate flag off the Williamson County seal.  (Franklin, Tennessee)

**  Confederate statue protest turns tense after militia arrives. (Gulfport, Mississippi.  They were for keeping the statue and wearing bullet-proof vests and carrying firearms.  I do not like it when people on either side come to one of these situations armed.  It should not be allowed and police should make arrests.  In these cases, it wouldn't take much for people to open fire.)
