** Atlanta City Council okays removal of railroad statue with Confederacy ties. (Just because the man responsible for founding your company served in the Confederate Army in no way makes him a bad man.)
** Dallas lawmaker files to remove Confederate monuments at Texas Capitol. (A white man.)

** Artist Sonya Clark weaves a corrective to the story of the Confederacy.
** 'Maliciously' taking down a Confederate monument in Florida is a second degree felony. (This should also apply to anyone committing a hate crime of any sort. Taking down a Confederate monument is a hate crime.)
** Legal settlement ensures protests are allowed around the Alamance Confederate statue. (North Carolina. NAACP racist group sued for this. Protesters also allowed to swear at police. Next thing you know, they'll be back in court seeking that destruction to the statue will result in awards and honors all around.)
