I would prefer that the Confederate statues remain where they are. I would be for Blacks erecting statues of their people if historically connected to the city or town. But, I am of the belief that the Confederate statues will have to be moved from public spaces, so support that reluctantly. Sadly, Whites have to make amends for the Jim Crow era and this is one way to do so.
Those statues should be repaired or have spray paint removed and turned over to Confederate organizations like the SCV or UDC. They will be the ones to find a suitable place to relocate, probably cemeteries or battlefields. Maybe even privately-owned Confederate parks.
All expenses for removal, storage, relocation and re-erecting should be paid by those who don't want the statues there as opposed to being paid by public money. Provisos should be in place to cover further damage by Blacks and their white minions in the future, but hopefully that won't happen because they got their way and should be satisfied.
