APRIL 16, 2021
** Confederate chair found in New Orleans; alleged bandits nabbed.
** Timeline outlined for disposal of city-owned Confederate statues. (Sad R. As far as I am concerned those Confederate monuments and anything Confederate for that matter, can't be removed from there soon enough. Tomorrow would not be soon enough.)
** Mississippi declared April 'Confederate Heritage Month', sparking backlash and debate. (No big surprise there. Guess who doesn't like it?)
** Proposal in Alabama to up protection for Confederate statues. (Some backlash.)
** House votes to change 'Confederate Flag Day' to 'Arkansas Day.'
** Denton County Confederate monument relocation plan approved. (Texas)
** Mississippi Black Caucus condemns declaration recognizing Confederate Heritage Month. (Black Caucus? Does that sound a bit racists to you?)
