DREAUX AVENUE / First Confederate officer killed in Civil War / Frances Joseph-Gaudet Avenue  Black/Indian woman and prison reform advocate.

GEN. EARLY DRIVE /  Confederate general / Dent Drive   /  Famous black family in New Orleans

GEN. OGDEN STREET / Nicknamed General for actions at Liberty Place / Herman Midlo Street  Civil Rights activist.

FORSHEY STREET / Caleb Goldsmith Forshey, Confederate Engineering Corps / Buddy Bolden Street  One of the founders of jazz.

LEONIDAS STREET / Leonidas Polk, Confederate general / Mahalia Jackson Street   Queen of Gospel and Civil Rights activist.

CALHOUN STREET /  John C. Calhoun, slavery supporter / Father Louis J. Twombley Street  Jesuit brother and  social justice organizer.

GENERAL TAYLOR STREET / Son of President Zachary Taylor and Confederate general /  Professor Longhair Street   New Orleans musician.
