Confederadication: Erase History, That Is the Answer? Maryland, North Carolina, Alabama, Street Names, Georgia and Fort Hood

**  County poised to erase Confederate references from streets facilities.  (Montgomery County, Maryland)

**  Groups suing Gaston County over Confederate monument.  (North Carolina.  Black groups want it gone.  Imagine that?)

**  Confederate  statues law may  stop Montgomery from naming street for Fred Gray.  (Montgomery, Alabama.  Fred Gray was a Civil Rights activist.  The mayor, who is a Black, wants Jefferson Davis Avenue renamed for Gray.)

**  Georgia lawmakers strongly back bill to remove Confederate names from  bases.

**  Passage of defense bill  could mean Fort Hood gets new name.  (What could mean?  Would mean.)
