** United Daughters of the Confederacy to relocate Confederate statue from downtown Dalton. (Georgia)
** Charges tossed for two men accused of toppling Confederate statue Silent Sam at UNC Chapel Hill. (North Carolina. The reason? Too many other, more important cases to try because of COVID backup. These guys committed a hate crime and they get to take a walk. Big surprise. Had this involved a MLK statue, would the culprits have gotten a walk? Actually every student there, both hands on and cheering on should have been expelled for hate crimes. None were.)
** OP-Ed: Bibles and Confederate flags mixed at Capitol riot. They shouldn't in Christianity.
** San Francisco school board votes to rename 44 schools, including Abraham Lincoln and George Washington. (Gosh. Oh Gosh. How low will they go.)
** Military Matters: Commanding general talks Fort Benning name change.
** Statue of Confederate general Nathan Forrest removed from Myrtle Cemetery, put into storage. (Rome, Georgia)
** Hispanic congressmen push for purge of Confederate renaming panel. (Want Trump people removed from panel. Want forts named after Hispanics. How about Fort Santa Anna?)
