** Removing monuments not the answer to stopping hatred. (As a matter of fact removing them causes more hatred.)
** AAUP chapter calls for Chapel Hill's chancellor's removal. (UNC-Chapel Hill. American Association of University Professors. Of course, I believe a lot of this Confederate hatred stems from the actions of professors, especially at UNC-Chapel Hill.)
**UNC president tried to quell outrage over secret Silent Sam deal. (Of course, there was no outrage at the hate crime committed in the name of the university that night.)

** DCPS hears from public about changing schools named after Confederate leaders. (Duval County, Jacksonville, Fla.)
** Bachelor's Demi Burnett apologizes for wearing a jacket with the Confederate flag on it. (Has it come to this? OMG?)
** Months later, Wilmington's Confederate monuments remain in limbo. (Wilmington, N.C.)
** Group campaigns to remove Confederate monuments from public property. (North Carolina. A statewide campaign.
** Defense Department names four representatives to Confederate base naming commission.
