** Montana landmarks named for Confederate leader questioned. (Places named for Jefferson Davis. Jeff Davis Peak, Jeff Davis Gulch and Jeff Davis Creek. Not sure what Davis had to do with Montana?)
** Our view: Confederate Heritage Month a relic of the past. (Mississippi)
** Confederate signs placed back on city property.
** Should Baton Rouge drop Confederate street names? New committee will study it. (Louisiana)
** County denies group owns Confederate statue in response to lawsuit. (Kentucky)
** South Carolina closed government offices in honor of 'Confederate Memorial Day'.
** John Landis discusses use of Confederate flag in controversial Animal House scene. (Don't even think about what Pinto and the 13-year-old girl were about to do. That horrible, horrible, horrible flag, you know. Well, there was obviously a U.S. flag there as well. What about that one? Landis said the reason the flag was there was because they were using an actual fraternity room for the scene and it was already there. Nobody ever expected it being there would be an issue.)
