**  Texas politician suggests Veterans Day organizers should be lynched, tells Confederate group to 'get a rope.'

Sid Miller of Stephenville now says this statement was a joke.  Said it after the local Sons of Confederates showed up at Veterans Day parade and were told they had to remove their flags.  They left.

Extremely bad choice of words on his part.
