How About That Woke State University or Cancel Culture University in Utah? A Statue of York, a Slave with Lewis and Clark Expedition

**  A murky legacy:  Confederate generals who fought to uphold slavery later helped black Virginians. (William Mahone, Benjamin F, Bland and William Taliaferro.  So, there might have been another side to the story.  Maybe some Confederates weren't the vile people our wokers paint them as.)

**  Danville museum shifts mission to showcase all sides of history.   (Virginia.  Danville Museum of Fine Arts and History)

**  Sculpture of enslaved explorer mysteriously appears in Oregon Park.  (Bust of York, a slave of  William Clark.  The more statues we have of history the better.  I did not know that there was a slave along with the Lewis and Clark Expedition.  About time.)

**  Reese:  Dixie State University needs a new name.  (Utah.  I've already offered up one for the new name:  Woke State University.  Or, how about Cancel Culture University?)  (Or maybe Black Lives Matter University?)

**  How a wave of segregationists  tributes from streets to  schools entrenched the  ideas of white supremacy.
