**  Relatives of Confederate colonel John Mosby support name change at Mosby Woods Elementary.  (Virginia.  If the majority of the students are Blacks I would support that.  There should be no school named after a Confederate if more than half of the students are Blacks.)

**  Confederate Park to be renamed for late commissioner.  (Alabama)

**  Jackson school named after a Confederate colonel accepting nominations for new name.  (Mississippi.  Named after Col. John Logan Power.

**  New site approved for Caroline County Confederate Civil War monument.  (Bowling Green, Virginia.  Will be relocated to Greenlawn Cemetery.  Expected to cost $25,000.   Again, those who want it moved should pay for it.)

**  Man accused in Whitmer kidnapping plot defended Confederate statue in June.  (Michigan.  Kidnapping plot of Michigan governor.)

**  Only on 2: Mystery confederate (Confederate) marker has City of Charleston, county officials searching for answers.  (South Carolina.  Marker for Robert E. Lee.)

**  On Confederate statues, take a lesson from former Soviet-bloc countries.
