**  Louisiana legislature scraps Confederate holidays more than 150 years after the Civil War.

**  Republican council member takes another shot at Confederate monument removal.  (Jacksonville, Florida.  He wants the city to put up half a million dollars for removal.  I say that those who want it removed should have to come up with the money.  Let them put their money where their mouths are.)

**  Washington County rededicates Confederate statue.  (Abungdon, Virginia.  It was moved from the courthouse.)

**  Confederate statue removed.  (Daviess County, Kentucky)

**  Students charged with raising c(C)onfederate flag at La Plata school.  (Maryland)
