** Future of Confederate monument in Stone Mountain Cemetery under debate.
** The last Confederate statue in Richmond has been removed after 130 years. (It seems to me that 130 years is an awful long time for it to stand before some folks realized they were offended by it.)

** Statue of Henrieta Lacks to replace Robert E. Lee. (Roanoke, Virginia. She was a black woman who deserves a statue because her cancer cells were taken without her permission and have helped with the fight against the disease. She deserves a statue, but the Lee one should have remained.)
