Are these UDC members the white supremacists who put up all those racist monuments BLM has warned us about? How about those Confederate veterans above them? Some mighty desperate and despicable folks if you ask me.

Here Is the List of Army Bases to be Renamed-- Part 2: Fort Benning Becomes Fort Moore

This has been the topic of many articles in the last month as the military starts renaming them.  I do not list these unless more information is given than what I have already written.  That is why I haven't been writing a lot lately in this blog.  (And believe me, I sure will be happy if the day ever comes that I can completely drop this blog.  I have too many blogs as it is and this one is no fun to write.)

All of the  people the bases are renamed for are deserving.  The commission that chose the names did a good job.

RENAMED BASES:

FORT BENNING, Georgia, will become FORT MOORE, after Army Lt. Gen.  Hal Moore and his wife, Julia Compton Moore. Hal Moore  received the Distinguished Service cross for his heroism in the Vietnam War.  Julia Moore advocated for military families and is credited for the personal notification of death procedures now practiced.

Here Is the List of Army Bases to Be Renamed-- Part 1

From the March 26, 2023,  "Army: Cost of renamimg  nine Confederate-named military bases  has nearly soubled" by Suzanne Downing.

And, of course, you know where I stand on the issue of costs.

**********************

THOSE who want it renamed should bear the cost of doing so.

That means that BLM, SPLC and NAACP as well as their white minions should pay.

**************************

MARCH 30, 2023

**  Richmond's Black History Museum  names new executive director after year-long  search.  (Virginia,  A black woman, of course.  But the saddest thing is that they have 13 of the Confederate monuments torn dow in Sad R..  There is no way a black group should have a Confederate statue.)

Who Should Be Paying for All These Army Base Name Changes?

MARCH 25, 2023

**  Confederate flag banned from Fort Worth Stockyards after flying in St. Patrick's parade.  (Texas)

**  Here's when Army bases honoring the Confederacy will shed  their old names.

**  Virginia  ceremony kicks off  Army's official removal of Confederate names from its bases.

**  Fort Pickett to become the first  Army base to drop its Confederate name.  (Virginia)

And, again, I say that the cost of the name changes should be paod by BLM, NAACP, SPLC and their white minions.
